Great for typing not so great for gaming
Beautifully crafted keyboard and quite sturdy. Heavy and won't move unless you want it to.I type about 100WPM average and 120+ when I know the prompt. I can say emphatically that this is one of the best typing keyboards I've ever owned. I typed full pages without ever misclicking and I attribute this to the weight of the keys. The 65g actuation force is VERY noticeable (especially if you're coming from an MX Red/Brown/Blue) and makes it so a key won't register if bumped, only if pressed. The issue comes along when we get to gaming. If you're looking for a finger workout, then this is the keyboard for you, and I don't mean that lightly. I knew about the 65g actuation force going in and I figured "Ah, I bottom out on my keys anyways so it can't be that bad."..... A fool, I was. After prolonged sessions of holding down the W key with your middle finger and the Shift and Ctrl keys with your pinky, your hand will be begging for an amputation. I actually iced my hand for about an hour on day two. Three days in and I had to tap out and pulled out the old $20 membrane to game on.Moral of the story: Great keyboard for typing, not so great for long sessions of gaming. I ended up going with a Ducky One 2 MX Brown and I won't be looking back.

Wow!
I never imagined I would spend this much on a keyboard. I recently bought a cheaper mechanical keyboard to replace my cheapie. It was a big improvement. Somehow I ended up giving it to my son, and went back to the cheapie. I didn't realize how much I liked having a mechanical keyboard. I was shopping around, and considered buying the same mechanical I had, but decided to splurge on this one with the brown switches. I would say it is worth the money. This thing is built like a tank. Wonderful to use so far. I'll update if there are any issues.A longer cord would be perfect for my application, but that is easily remedied. Especially since the cord is removable.

Fantastic quality! Excellent professional keyboard!
Wow I've only had this for a few hours and I'm already in love with it. Always wanted to try a mechanical keyboard and I'm so glad I picked this one. The build quality is superb. Design is awesome. It looks great, it's sturdy, and the backlighting - with 7 brightness levels - is just right. Most importantly of course the keys themselves are a dream. I went for the MX Brown switches which for me are the perfect amount of clickiness without being too loud. I not only love this keyboard, but as a programmer who has been typing for over thirty years I wish to express my sincere GRATITUDE to the designers of this gem.I love that it's not too huge, and that it has no ugly branding or unneeded flash keys, etc. Anyone could take this into an office and look professional, as opposed to a videogame-obsessed kid. It's pricey, yes, and ABSOLUTELY worth it, every cent. Thank you team WASD for crafting this with such care - it really shows. It will improve my daily life immeasurably going forward. If I get a second computer I will not hesitate to buy another one of these. Highly recommended!

Fun to type on; I can type faster and more accurately
I bought this after some research to replace my old Corsair K70 and it's made a world of difference. If you are newer to mechanical keyboards, unsure, or use it primarily for gaming, I recommend the Brown switches. They have the subtlest tactile feedback while not making too much sound. The board is very minimal and simplistic with no plastered "GAMER" logos, and the simple white backlight has saved me from the excessive RGB.I'd recommend buying the O-Ring switch dampeners with this. I personally got the 0.2mm and it has muffled the sound from a less high-pitched click to a more muted sound. I haven't yet had to clean it so I'm unsure how that is, but after using it 6+ hours a day for over a month I haven't seen a reason to.In Summary: If you don't care about flashiness and want something more "professional" with a great feel and build quality, get this keyboard.

A nearly perfect keyboard
If you are someone who wants an extremely solid and versatile keyboard without a lot of the flashy logos or RGB, this is the one. The frame is extremely solid (reminds me of old typewriters), not metal but just as rigid in practice. The finish is a pleasantly textured eggshell-like black on the body and a nice flat black on the keys. Cable channel is a little tight, but not unreasonably so. Easily bright enough to see in any lighting conditions, understated but very clean. I also appreciate the absence of branding and OS key symbols. Keys have great travel and the right amount of sound and movement for the switches, as expected.Beyond that typical stuff, where this keyboard really shines is the Macro capability. Why use macros? Well, besides the obvious gaming or coding functions, they enable a ton of useful keys that aren't normally accessible on windows via ALT codes. I use the RWin key together with letters and numbers to press keys like • ° Ø Ω ² ≤ ≥ ◄ ► and my favorite (takes extra registry changes) ‽. Macros are easy to add and remove once you get used to the method (manual comes in the box and is very clear). Absolutely the keyboard I was looking for after multiple RGB abominations with giant macro panels off the sides. 5/5.

All that I find both "necessary and sufficient" for productivity work
Simple, no bs, easy adjustment with dipswitches so works great with Linux Mint. Brown switches are silent and soft; took a day to get used to and now it feels great.I'm using a wired mouse with it. Together they cost four times as much, and are well worth the extra, over the wretched wireless combo from Logitech--where the mouse has a well-known way of simply disconnecting and needing to be reset.I will buy this again for my other systems.

Everyone should own a mechanical keyboard
This is my second Code keyboard. I have a Code keyboard with clear switches I use at home. I think those switches are a little too stiff for my taste. However, I just bought the brown key version for work and love it.Simplicity and style all the way. No extra silly buttons that I never use.One piece of advice, though, get the o-rings. Either pre-installed or install them your self. I installed them myself. Easy, except for the long keys that have a wire support to keep them stable. Those were slightly tricky, but I managed without breaking anything. Your coworkers will be thankful.
