Wifi IP Camera, BlitzWolf 1080P FHD Baby Monitor Indoor Wireless Home Security Camera with Night Vision Motion Detection 2-Way Audio Pan/Tilt/Zoom Home Surveillance Monitor for Baby/Elder/Pet

I purchased this camera so I could protect my home when I am not there. The camera is easy to setup and looks very stylish it’s a great deterrent for burglars and has very good picture quality.The camera connects to my phone easily and is easy to connect.

Decided to get one of these cameras for when our 3 year old is playing alone in his bedroom (we live in a flat we are not leaving him upstairs alone) so that of we are watching a film or cooking dinner we can still keep an eye on him.Ordered Friday, arrived Saturday. Very quick and easy to set up using your mobile phone connected to WiFi.I cannot comment on the cloud storage or recording to sd card as they are not features we are looking to use.Came nicely packeged in a small box, set up took around 5 minutes which included downloading and registering on the app.Picture always defaults to standard def when you open the app but you can change to HD with one touch of the screen..Even in standard def the picture is adequate for our needs. High def makes the picture even smoother.The lense seems to be some form of wide angle which is great. And the motor built in allows you swivel and tilt the camera as you needGreat camera and would have expected it to cost a lot. Ore than it actually did.

OK, so first the good points, the camera image is excellent, very clear and the camera is quite small and discreet. The bad points, the instructions and set up are extremely poor, I consider myself to be quite savvy but struggled / struggling with this, another issue is if you have double glazing the camera image reflects in the second pane of glass so it reflects right back and to put the camera on an angle so you don't see the reflection isn't an option for me, but this issue would not be exclusive to this camera, but it's worth bearing in mind if you intend to use the camera looking outside from within. The night function again has problems for me, I have a street light outside my house that highlights the camera even more so again all I get is a reflection of the camera in the second pane of glass, also there are 2 IR red lights on the camera for night vision that cannot be switched off & reflects in the glass (see my posted image) So, to sum up, instructions poor, camera quality quite good but when it comes to playback the images are very pixelated and it is extremely difficult to get a clear image. So no I really wouldn't recommend.

This camera is little different in shape than other cameras on the market. Video quality is satisfactory and connection is easiest I have ever done.I hope it works for long time. For now I am happy with the item.

Interesting little wi-fi camera that works (sort of) with the SmartLife platform. It arrived very well packaged, and with a useful adjustable mounting stand and an extra-long USB cable for power. The camera has quite good resolution and colour rendering – about what you would expect at this price point.An unexpected feature is that the camera does genuine motion following, using its motor drives. However, this is quite slow and there is no process for it to return to the original position after the moving object goes out of view.Unlike some other similar cameras on this platform, the BW-SHC1 does not use audio as a detection trigger, making it less than useful as a “baby monitor.” There IS a built-in microphone so it's not clear why this feature was left out.The internal speaker is startlingly loud and there appears to be no volume control for this.Firmware appears to be very sketchy: if set to detect movement, this appears to work but playback of the recorded video is rather hit-and-miss, and sometimes results in the camera crashing completely as it tries to retrieve a video clip from its SD card. This happens even if a very high-speed card is used.* Good things: acceptable build quality, good accessories, long power cable.* Bad things: very poor software implementation.Sum-up: there are better ones out there at this price point.

Although the camera as a device is not too bad.. the control app is very very bad.There are no options to disable night vision manually, no detection sensitivity, no option to set the camera in sleep mode or to restart the device. Those options are important for me and this camera lacks all of them which is standard for most security cameras.I have contacted the company to explain the problems with night vision ( as it clicks continuously on and off when there is no sufficient light or when someone watches TV in a dark room) and their response was irrelevant like someone who has not idea about.. I am disappointed about this product..

This is a super little security camera. We had a few teething problems with the set up, but the technical assistance we received from Bitzwolf was first class.

Nice easy camera, but night vision useless behind glass infra red lights need covered as glass conflicts
