Having Sciatica flare up, and was told heat would help. This heating pad definitely eased the pain, and provided temporary relief so that I was able to move about normally for a while and get some things done.Good large size, soft and comfortable. Gets good and HOT for deep effectiveness, but doesn't burn.

I’ve been using this heating pad for pregnancy aches, especially hip pain. It works really well. It gets hot pretty fast and stays hot. I love how flexible it is and how evenly the heat is distributed!I’ve never used a heating pad like this one....I’m used to the cheap plastic ones with a cord running through them that you put in a sleeve. This is such an upgrade!

This heating pad gets plenty hot. It heats up very fast. I put it on high & when it gets real hot, I change to medium. Very comfortable. I'm actually using it right now.My only complaint is that the plug attached to the pad, is so large, it seems to always be in my way.

This was such a great heating pad for like a month. I bought this in August, and in November it started to give off an awful smell like burning plastic. Now, at the end of December, it has died on me, it completely refuses to turn on. My last heating pad lasted me about 5 years and I spent less on it! Really disappointed that this heating pad lasted me 4 months and died right when I really needed it.

The problem I felt with this was that it gets super hot on low and medium but then fades really quickly or goes back to normal. I really loved the price and the softness but not sure why it’s doing that. It gets hot quickly though.

I really liked this at first but as someone with serious chronic pain, I use a heating pad most days, often several times a day and for extended lengths of time. After less than a week it started becoming unbearably hot even on the lowest setting. Them once in a while it will barely be warm on low but will just about burn your skin off on medium. It’s also never shut itself off no matter how long I forget to check it. It’s very disappointing because my last heating pad was bigger than this one which was wonderful but it was the same way. You could only use the low setting and you’d either get barely warm or painfully hot. And with both, if it’s cooled down too much I just turn it off and back on (always on Low) it will then get way too hot immediately. That one was worse than this one but I will still continue to look for a heating pad with more consistent temperatures. Especially because my last one only lasted a few months and with this one having the same issue, I suspect it won’t last long either. Bottom line is that unless you enjoy a level of heat that will literally leave marks on your skin, don’t buy this model. I previously owned a good one that lasted years but can’t remember where I got it. I’m almost positive it was similar to this one in size but was made by Sunbeam.

Disappointed!!! Died after 4 months! Do not buy

I got this to replace my last heating pad which was some cheap plastic thing with a fabric cover that eventually bent from storage and broke. The moment I touched it I was sold. It is so soft and very flexible--I"m not worried about it getting kinked up like my old one. It's more like using a tiny electric blanket. Love it!
