Waldom Electronics W-HT-1919 CRIMPING TOOL MOLEX 24-14 AWG

I've used this more than once. Sure you will have to hold the splice in just the right place a bit to ensure you get the best crimp, but hey, for the price over the others, I say it's worth it. Not a hard thing to do, just take your time and you will have some very nice and secure crimps. I even used it for the Deutsch crimps and was able to slide the terminal through all that rubber with no hang ups. If you've ever used the Deutsch connectors, you know what I'm talking about. You have to have a dang-near perfect crimp or they won't fit. I crimped over 50 wired ends and all worked perfectly. You might think I'd give it 4 stars because you will have to hold your terminals carefully before crimping to ensure they are perfect, instead of just dropping them into some of the way more expensive types, but for the price, I gotta give it 5 stars. No complaints on that.

While I have a pretty good crimper for the usual connectors, I got into a project where I needed to crimp some Molex type pins. This crimper worked great, making excellent crimps on the pins with no effort at all. The only 'gripe is with the grip' (sorry). One of the two plastic grip sleeves is too loose and slips each time the tool is used. A little epoxy will fix that. Otherwise, this is a great tool for the occasional job.

Returned. Did not use. Advertized as Molex Crimper but it is actually basically the same as other crimpers I already have. Seems to be well constructed.

Exactly what I need.

I needed some specialized crimpers for open Amp terminals, and these do the job. I bought two pairs - they have different wire gauges. This works fine - it's a two step process.
