THIS STUFF ACTUALLY WORKED!!!!!
To my surprise, this stuff actually worked. Used many other product with no solution to our issue. This was my last try before we called in someone to redo our septic and lateral lines. We had septic/sewage backing up in our basement tub when running water(showers, washer, etc.). Thought it was the septic tank since it had never been pumped in 50 years. After having it pumped, we had no issues until a month later. Then the same issue with water backing up in the basement tub. Decided to dig up around the distribution box just to have a look at that end of the system before digging up all the piping. The guy that pumped my septic tank came back and located my distribution box for me. We actually got a sketch/plans of the septic layout from our local health/environmental department so, he was able to locate it very quickly. After digging up around the D-box, we found our issue. The D-box and the hole I dug to find it would fill up with water after a shower or washing clothes. Our lateral or distribution lines were 90% clogged. The water would eventually go down but, not as fast as we were using it. Once the water had somewhere to go(filling the hole I dug), we had no more backups in the basement tub. I tried many different products with no help. As a last ditch shot, I tried this. Per the instructions, I pumped out all the water in the hole and most of it in the D-box. Added this product to the D-box and filled it with fresh water. Almost immediately it started gurgling and bubbling like it was eating away at something. After 2 days the hole would only fill half as much as it had been filling. By the 4th and last treatment, the water level would not come out or above the D-box walls. There was no water filling the hole, it all stayed in the D-box. We believe that this product took our lateral lines from 90% blocked to only 10-25% blocked. Was so impressed with how this stuff worked. I ordered another round to use just to make sure we got it ALL cleared up, since my D-box was already dug up. I have covered up my D-box and filled the hole and had no issues since using this product. The key is to get this product in your septic system AFTER the septic tank. Flushing it down the toilet or adding it to the septic tank will no work. This product needs to be added after the septic tank per pipe between the septic tank and D-box or added to the D-box directly. Its a little pricey but, it saved us $1000s. If your septic system issue is your lateral lines being clogged or slow moving and you can access the D-box or some pipe after the septic tank, I would give this a try before spending $1000s on lateral line replacement. I definitely would buy this product again.

This actually works!!! Try it if you are on the fence
*** Update 1 year later and drain field failed again. Going to use this product to give me more time as I plan to replace the drainfield***I preface this with I'm an engineer and have to understand how things work. I did a ton of research on septic tanks when my rentals leachfield started backing up. Had the tenants complain on a sunday about water flowing out of septic into the yard and they couldn't use the sinks/showers. I had a company do an emergency pump out for $475, later to find out they didn't do a good job. After about 4 or 5 days tenants said waste was bubbling up out of septic lid. I did research and the best reviews were from Roebic products. I put about 12 bottles of the emergency care K57 and another 4 of K570 for leachfields over 4 weeks. No improvement at all. Then septic shock and multiple other bacteria/enzyme treatments with no improvement. Called a different pump contractor who quoted I would need a 2nd tank for a pump as drainfield wouldn't fit in current location and would have to be pumped to back yard costing $10k. Then I had the tank pumped again this time the company cleaned out both side of tank (the outlet side had a bunch of sludge left where the first company didn't pump it properly). While the tank was dry I installed a cleanout between the septic tank and tee at the distribution line (I didn't have a d box). Then I ordered oxy septic which took about a week to come in and the distribution line had water standing in it, I thought I had messed up b/c instructions say to drain distribution lines prior to placing this in. Well put the bag in and could only spray for about 1 minute till it filled and probably was backflowing into tank. Came back in 2 days and the line was dry!!! used 2nd bag and sprayed hose for 3 mins till it filled. on 5th day line dry used 3rd bag, 7th day 4th bag and sprayed about 4 minutes till it filled. My old drain field is odd b/c I have dug up the yard and can only find one long rocked line perpendicular to the septic tank, I don't think there are fingers going off of it. Since that 4th treatment I did another 2 bottles of roebic K57 and 1 of K570 leach for good measure and haven't had a back up in 3 months. fingers crossed this will continue to perform.

I was hopeful but it didn’t work.
We started having leach field issues last year. I bought this as a last ditch effort to see if it would help. Here I am now a year later with the same leach field issue (septic tank not draining).

Didn't work for me
I didn't have any luck. Maybe my situation was too far gone.
