Cant be beat even if it fails in a few years you still come ahead!
Great, just great! Really helps out in auto scale modeling. Makes a huge difference in the quality of the paint finishing on model car parts. I am new to airbrushing this is my first airbrush so I cant compare this to the 200+ dollar units. But I can tell you at this low price you absolutely can not loose. 75% of the cost is the actual airbrush not the compressor which is why the low price point. The compressor works great and its somewhat quiet, it has a pressure adjustment but no indication of PSI. I read some reviewers say the compressor falls over when running do to its awkward stance. I have no issues with that, I set it on top of the desk and it stays upright. The air hose is plenty long enough and feels like good quality. Taking it apart to clean is fairly easy with common sense. I use Tamiya acrylic paint and simple Windex and water cleans perfect. Windex is a wonder product. Not only will Windex clean glass & desks, you can use it for more things than I can list. Windex will absolutely dissolve solvent based acrylic paint which makes it perfect. I saw some how to videos and more than a handful of people say that windez works great for cleaning and they are correct. Acrylic model paint is actually solvent based so water alone does not exactly clean all that well, but Windex does even with out elbow grease. Spray windex in the empty paint stained cup and run that through the air brush then rinse out with water and then throughly dry then put the next color in for painting that simple. I use thinner with my paints as I have seen that most recommend doing that. I use Tamiya paint and use their thinner for acrylic and do two parts paint and one part thinner. So use a glass dropper / eye dropper and drop lets say 10 drops paint to 5 drops thinner and then do the math like that for more paint, good ratio. I also use isopropyl alcohol to help clean before I store it. Now will this last forever not sure but for me it probably will. Well worth the low price point, even if it fails in a few years you absolutely will not be throwing money away! The brush alone is worth the money and that will last for a lifetime i would think. The compressor will probably be the week point in the future but the brush will still be good. You can get a high end compressor and still use the brush.

Works just great!
I grabbed this on a whim for painting 3d printed parts, and after ordering I had gone back and read reviews which made me a bit afraid. I had done the research and was getting ready to hook up several 2 liter bottles as air tanks and buy or machine metal reed valves, maybe even a new compressor, but amazingly it worked perfectly out of the box. I had bought an $8 assorted acrylic paint kit, which had 12 tubes along with brushes, rather than the $25 airbrush "paint" and thinned them with 1/2 water, and works perfectly. If anything, I need to adjust the airbrush as it seems a bit too powerful and and takes very small movements when adjusting brush size, on normal it is much like a can of spray paint. From reading the reviews, I think the BIGGEST problem people have is not doing the research of "how" to properly set-up and use an airbrush, along with learning the little quirks for this specific brand, which is all well described on youtube, such as replacing one of the rubber washers with beeswax or polyurethane. The biggest complaint, which is for only air coming out generally appears to be operator error.. now that I have learned how to use it. You push the button down for the airflow while SIMULTANEOUSLY sliding it backwards to start the paint flow... just pushing the button down sends only air. Taking off the back of the airbrush exposes a chuck that holds the needle, which should be pushed forward until it stops, then tightened. They don't ship "fully calibrated and tightened"

Good basic beginner airbrush
This is a very cheap and basic airbrush that will get you started if you want to start airbrushing. I build small scale models, mostly Gunpla and this one works well. I do own few high end model airbrush, my ‘go to’ being Grex, and compare to that this Master airbrush feels really cheap, and made me appreciate few things on Grex and Sotar. Build quality is okay. Outside is smooth but other important places like inside a cup is rough. This made cleaning really difficult and later I ended up using sonic cleaner for final cleaning after each session. It doesn’t show much on picture, there are other places where this airbrush cheaps out. However, this does not affect the actual airbrushing part. Airbrushing is nice and smooth, for most part. The problem came from the compressor. At high pressure, the lines come out in pulsing manner. I am assuming this is because the compressor doesn’t have air chamber. At low pressure it worked okay, but with trigger being numb, it was hard to get consistent small line. The compressor doesn’t have Air pressure gauge, but does have an adjuster knob so you just have to use ‘feel’ to get the correct pressure. Another problem came up when using the airbrush for long period of time. My airbrush began spitting. The problem was caused by lack of water trap. I have tried this on my bigger compressor with pressure adjuster and water trap and I had no problems. While I might take a lot of stars for this, considering this is supposed to be mobile, small, compact, cheap airbrush… I can’t. Like other airbrushes out there this one is finicky about the paint. Tamiya sprays wonderfully and had no problems. I tried Vallejo air and its primer and had a lot of problems with it. Vallejo paints would be trapped and harden inside the nozzle cap, completely blocking the airbrush. I tried thinning it and retarding it but it did not help. I only use acrylic since I spray indoors using Master spray booth, So I cannot say anything about other Enamel, or Lacquer. I added a photo of an HG Jegan that I had finished using this airbrush, The photo shows all the paints and tool I used. It might not show, but this airbrush allowed me to use bit more advanced technique such as pre shading and post shading. If you want to start airbrushing I would recommend this product. This will teach you basics of airbrush, including cleaning, maintaining, diagnostic a problem and such. (I had to tighten needle seal out of the box) And if it breaks, you can ‘upgrade’ to better one. Still if your money allows, spend a little more and get the one with bigger compressor.

What a surprising gem!
I was looking for an affordable airbrush/compressor combination and took a chance on this due to budget constraints and balancing out the good and bad reviews. I build mainly sci-fi based models and some plastic ships so I need something to apply primer and paint larger areas. The package arrived today in very good condition. I immediately read all instructions. Compressor notes: The compressor booklet is definitely a translated version, but not difficult to go through if you have had at least an 8th grade education (side note, I do not understand why people complain about translations. How many of you can translate something into another language?). The compressor does make a little noise, but then I was not expecting total silence. If you have other people in the house it will not bother them at all. The pressure knob is easy to adjust. Hose connected just great with no need for Teflon. I ran the compressor for 30 minutes unconnected to the airbrush. It did not stop or overheat. Airbrush notes: The airbrush is a basic model and will do what I need for simple primer application and painting wider areas. The booklet that came with it is very good. It has excellent notes on how to care for it and a detail diagram of all parts. I removed the quick connector that was supplied and connected it to the hose (again no need for Teflon) and turned on the compressor. The compressor worked as it should and only came on when I pushed in the trigger on the airbrush. The trigger moves smoothly. It has a good balance and sits in the cradle on the compressor just fine. I have not tried painting yet, but the air stream on my hand was tight when held close and broadened as I took it slowly away. The key to making any airbrush work properly is good cleaning habits and paint/thinner mixture. I will post my results on the airbrush later. My overall finding is this is going to be a great addition to my model making tools. The price is great even if all I got was the compressor. ******UPDATE******11/28/2018 I have now used this for actual painting. Before I put paint in the reservoir, I filled it up with a homemade cleaning solution and engaged the airbrush onto a paper towel. The cleaner came out in different spray patterns based on distance from the paper towel. After the reservoir was empty it was time to paint. I tried two different types of thinner;homemade and Valejos Air Brush thinner. I found the Valejo thinner worked best. Just add a drop or two in the reservoir with 3 to 4 drops of paint. Stir it up and go. The brush works perfectly. When I was done with the one color I added my homemade cleaner to the reservoir and sprayed into my cleaning pot. I did this about 3 times to get all the color cleared out and then added another color and thinner. Going from one color to another was not difficult. So the final conclusion is this is a great airbrush for general use. I will be using it to paint plastic models. The key is to keep it clean at all times and not take shortcuts.

Best beginner set hands down!
I was sceptical with this product despite the reviews. I have spent many hours researching this and to my surprise it was worth every penny and some. First, it came very well packaged and the compressor was separate from the brush. Second, the brush came professionally packaged in its own storage case. ALL REPLACEMENT PARTS CAN BE PURCHASED FROM HOBBY LOBBY. This uses all the same parts as the pro $300. brushes. Perfect for the beginner to intermediate. The compressor is a cheap one. But does work. I would suggest that if you are using this for long periods of time invest in a much better compressor with a tank. Comes with a. 035 needle and spanner wrench. Suggested that you purchase a cleaning kit Use only high quality paint designed for airbrushing and use a reducer if you are using your own paints. Don't mix with water. Mixing paint (acrylics) Consistency should be comparible with milk. 50/50 mix of paint and reducer should be fine for most applications and Psi should be set between 30 & 50 but no more than 50. This will do detail work but not extremely fine detail. Hose appears to be of decent quality has braided exterior for strength. Hose length is about 6'. I can't stress enough DON'T USE CHEAP OR OLD Paint! It will clog and ruin your day. 50/50 mix of windex and water is a great cheap cleaner.

Nightmare customer service
If I could give them less than one star I would. I’ve been going back and forth with this company for months regarding my air hose not working properly. Since the very first use it has not worked. My co worker has the exact same air brush machine and it works perfectly fine so I know it is not “user error” like they said it is. I very much know how to use the product. Using my co workers machine is what made me want to buy my own. It’s been a nightmare with this company trying to get my hose replaced. They blame it on the product not being cleaned properly or the liquid not being thin enough. I’ve done everything correctly since I do know how to use it and clean it. I know for a fact my hose came damaged since I have not been able to use it since day one. Needless to say, the customer service has not been great. I did not get it replaced because they kept blaming me for why it’s not working and I’ve given up since it’s been a fight with them for months. If your machine works, it’s a great product. If it doesn’t work, it’s a nightmare.

You get what you pay for. Also disassembly instructions for the compressor when it fails.
I bought this for painting Flames of War miniatures and the occasional scale model kit. I wanted something that would be fine enough to paint camouflage stripes on miniatures but without being too expensive. Bottom line is you get what you pay for. This is a complete airbrush set up coming in less than half what a Badger or Iwata airbrush would cost. You have to be a special brand of stupid to think you're going to get the same level of quality for half the price. I've had the brush for a year and here are the pros/cons: Pros: - Pretty decent control. With practice I was able to get nice looking camo lines on my miniatures. I was also able to get good coverage when painting larger surface areas. I most used Vallejo Model Air, Vallejo Model Color and Testors Model Master paints. - Compact. The compressor is very small and took up little room on my desk. - Quiet. Cons: - Not very good out of the box. I had to clean the needle following some tune up videos on YouTube before I got good results. - Finicky. Model Master paints sprayed great right out of the jar. Vallejo Model Air were OK. Vallejo Model Color was VERY hit or miss depending on the color. Definitely required quite a bit of thinning and some shades simply wouldn't work. - The compressor died almost to the day after one year. I suspect a soldered wire connection came undone from vibration. However the way there isn't a way to easily open it up to see inside which is very frustrating. Again, this complete airbrush set cost less than half what other companies charge for just a compressor so I can't say I'm too surprised. UDPATED: You can open up the compressor though it's not entirely obvious. at the back of the compressor you'll see a pattern of 3 horizontal lines with triangles at each end. grab the compressor at this point and the back cover will slide off. This will reveal two tiny Philips head screws. Remove them. Finally peel off the Master Airbrush sticker on the right body side. This will reveal another Philips head screw. Once all three screws are removed you should be able to gently open up the body. There are a couple of clips along the front, above and below the on/off button. I opened up mine and sure enough, one of the wires to the motor had broken off. Soldered it back in place and now it works just fine.

Must have for detailed painting
I'm working on a 1/350 scale model of the Titanic. I've ordered LOTS of replacement photo etched brass parts, to further improve the fine detail. All of these tiny parts are finely detailed. Like the hatch covers actually have 'dogs' that are the locking mechanisms on them. And those parts aren't even 3/16 of an inch tall. To try and paint these with a brush would be unpardonable. So much detail would be lost that you couldn't even tell what they were. The only way to paint these parts is with a super fine coat of paint applied with an air brush. That's where this Master Airbrush comes in. With practice, you will be able to change the color of any part WITHOUT losing any of the detail. I have already tested this super compact airbrush and found that it does the job perfectly. REMEMBER to practice on some scrap material BEFORE you go to your work. Also, this kit comes with one pipette for transferring your paint from it's bottle (or can) to the hopper. It's a good idea to buy a bulk pack of pipettes, That way, you can just throw away the pipette, rather than worry with cleaning it out for the next color. Good purchase. Five stars.

American adaptor.
I should have paid more attention as it does not come with a UK adaptor. Luckily managed to find an alternative

Buen producto y vendedor confiable

Great value
Perfect for my small scare multi media art work. Nice and quiet. Doesn’t bounce around the table when it’s running. Love that it shuts off when you stop pressing the button on the ink gun. I would recommend this product to others looking for a non-professional quality - but great consumer quality — airbrush and compressor
