An essential thing for your guitar collection!
Ernie Ball is widely regarded as one of the best guitar accessory companies, so I thought I would check out their toolkit. I must admit, it's AWESOME! I use this a lot to change my strings on the go, or adjust my action. No matter if you have an acoustic or electric as it works for both of them! For 50 bucks, it may seem expensive but I promise you you're getting what you pay for. Everything is high quality and has everything you need! If you're looking for a kit that has everything you need for all things guitar, this is it!

I like it
It’s pretty nice to have all these tools in one package. It’s pretty nice value considering the Allen wrenches can be used for a lot more than just my guitars. The only gripe I have with it is the wonder. Definitely get yourself a better peg winder cause the one in here is agitating to use to say the least lol. But overall perfect for set ups. I also recommend getting a action gauge I put one in this case so I always know where it is

I've had this thing so long I forgot where I bought it from.
Just doing some item reviews here on Amazon and behold, the guitar tool kit! Every time I change my strings, every time I need to adjust my truss rod, every time I have to adjust intonation, out comes the tool kit. I can't tell you when I bought it because I don't remember. I can tell you that it's gotten regular use ever since. Given where it sits in the order of items? Ballpark 4 years of routine use. Just an excellent thing to keep around. I'm no kind of luthier, but I do have enough experience to do the tasks listed above. This tool kit nails it.

Convenient Set of Decent Quality Tools
Not much can be said for this other than it gets the job done (piece-by-piece break down below). I will preemptively note that the screwdriver is not 6-in-1, but only 2-in-1 (Flathead/Philips). It's a nice enough case that is convenient and won't leave tools tossing around in your gig bag. Buying the individual pieces would almost certainly leave you paying more, though you'd also most likely get better quality equipment. I'd recommend this for convenience sake or for those amateur musicians who don't have any purpose for these tools other than occasional guitar work. For those who want higher quality tools to take care of a handmade instrument, I'd recommend buying individual pieces and putting together your own set. You may pay more, but tools are worth it. WIRE CUTTERS -- They aren't very sharp, but they're good enough for the purposes of string cutting. SCREWDRIVER -- Seems sturdy, but contrary to what's advertised there is only one size each of Philips and Flathead bits. The description lists a 6-in-1 screwdriver. There's only one double sided bit for a grand total of 2-in-1. HEX WRENCH SET -- They seem decent enough, though I haven't had a reason to use them yet. (My guitars have all been set up recently.) CASE -- A nice simple nylon case that provides a lot of convenience for travel as well as making it so I don't have to dig out my tool chest every time I need to work on my guitar. "WONDER WIPES" -- The fretboard wipe cleaned my neck very well as well as made it very pretty. The instrument polish worked well and my guitar is now slightly shinier than its been in a while, but probably not much better than simple soap and water would do as long as you have a good finish (if you use soap and water be careful not to touch unfinished wood!). I haven't used the string cleaning wipe yet (I was replacing my strings at the time, so there was no need). I've also never cleaned my strings in my ten years of playing and haven't had a problem, though it probably would help retain the tone. Though you're probably better off just getting good quality strings (I like D'Addario). MICROFIBER CLOTH -- It's a nice moderate size and seems to be of good quality. Other than that, it does what cloths do. PEG WINDER -- It's a piece of plastic that rotates. Disclaimer: I've never used a string winder in ten years of playing guitar and I don't really see the point unless for some reason you're winding/unwinding strings for hours on end. I suppose it would probably be good for unwinding old strings and that's about it. As far as putting new strings on, it would probably save almost zero time or effort just between having to grab it and put it on for what is already a super simple and quick task. RULER -- It's a metal ruler with an in-to-mm conversion table on the back. The table is rather exhaustive and should provide anything you'll need in that regard. Though, what measurements you want are something you'll have to already know or look up elsewhere.

useful
may seem unnecessary to spend $30 on a set of hex wrenches, screw drivers, pliers, and a ruler; but i'm happy i did. i'll probably get rid of the packets of EB cleaner (nice touch, but i dont use stuff like that normally) and keep a spare battery in there. room for a set of strings would've been nice, but i guess you can just put them inside and zip it up. i adjusted 3 different truss rods last night after opening it, and the wrenches accommodated the 3 different instruments. i didn't adjust any bridges / use the smaller hex wrenches, but im confident the sizes are there. this may not be enough to open your own guitar workshop, there will certainly be some instruments with odd truss rod sizes that you'll need a specialized tool for. i'm a full time musician - music educator, and i think this is perfect to keep in my gigbag for teaching, i do setups on students guitars and basses pretty regularly, and having everything in a neat little case is going to be convenient.
