The U-Bolt measures 7mm to 8mm, NOT 10mm!
They look shiny. Inside of nut is also just slightly more than 7mm. I haven't hunted down another nut to test, but a 13mm socket fits. My bolt chart says that is the socket size for a 8mm bolt, NOT 10mm. These are marked with a 10 on the saddle, but they seem closer to 7mm or 8mm. A rigging supplier sells a stainless clamp for 3/8" cable that claims a U-Bolt size of 3/8", which is 9.5mm. These are less expensive than those, but you won't be getting what the large print says that you are here.
