Did this djellaba fit well?

It's made to be a loose fit but is smaller than an American or European product would be for the stated sizing.

What is the fabric content?

Feels like rayon to me; says it is cotton on amazon website. Runs EXTREMELY small. I am in Morocco now and my granddaughter who wears a medium at home in Texas takes a 3X here! The salesperson said it was the Moroccan sizing.
