Read instructions first! The build us excellent. Be sure not to cut off too much excess, better to have too much than not enough. Durable, takes a few tries to open buckle with the thumb switch. Looks very nice, many complements.

This belt has an unusual buckle mechanism I had not seen before. There are ridges on the back of the belt that slide thru a little pawl that allow fast and easy adjustment of the belt size. A little lever allow quick removal when nature calls. I've been wearing it for about a week or so and absolutely love the belt.

I was a little apprehensive about purchasing a belt online since even the ones I get in the store don't seem to last very well, however, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this belt. The buckle is sturdy and the leather is thick.

I was hesitant about buying this belt. Now I am glad I did. I found two additional methods to fasten this belt, in addition to the one shown. All seem to work well. I am surpirised how secure the belt is using the Jasgood method. Time will tell if the belt is durable and secure in a yaer or two. This will be my daily belt I use for work, so it will have a workout.

I love this belt. THIS belt is very nice for two reasons (1) It's elastic so is accommodating for instance - getting in and out of the car - no cutting into the waist (2) the buckle is a pull up clamp down lock and works very well. It also has a belt loop ON the belt to help with securing the extra belt material.

Out of the box, I played with it and realized the catch mechanism wasn't working so i had to slight bend the tab with a screwdriver so the latch can catch the belt. works fine now. I ordered this over 3 months ago and was my first time using it. I would have tried sending it back but it was quicker to just slightly push the tab down to make it work.Overall great product. Only 4 stars cause didn't work out of the box.

So far (I have only had the belt for a few days) I really like the belt. It keeps my cargo pocketed pants and shorts from slipping down when loaded with cell phone and other items. Elasticity of the strap is strong but not too strong. Pulling about two inches through the buckle gets about the right tension. The buckle action is easy and quick. The metal free end fitting is slightly wider than the 1 1/2 inch belt and hangs up when going through 1 1/2 inch belt loops. The buckle assembly looks like it may not be durable but I have no problems so far. The extra buckle is appreciated and may be needed.

I gave this a 4-star rating simply because it has a bad buckle design.First the pros: The stiff belt webbing is of a high quality tight-weave nylon, (the same stuff that tow straps and ratchet tie-downs are made from), which I expect will outlive me - unlike cheaply laminated leather belts. This belt is quite strong, and tear-resistant, and I’m sure that it could easily hold my 200+lb. frame fully suspended, if only the buckle could be trusted. It should be noted that, while it is rip-resistant, nylon is NOT heat-resistant like genuine leather is, so firefighters may want to think about that before buying this. The 2-piece cast buckle is all utility in appearance, and seems to be tough, but only time will tell how long it lasts before breaking.Now the cons: The clinching system of the buckle was poorly designed. There are no springs or clamps, and it relies solely on YOUR pressure to keep it tight. For starters, the teeth on the sliding clincher bar at the feeding-end of the buckle are not pointy enough to firmly hold the belt tight while you feed the remaining end of it through the retainer loop at the other end of the buckle. The width of the belt is also a wee bit wider than the opening in the retainer loop, making it difficult to thread it through there, all the while, the clincher bar is wiggling loose and letting go of the tight hold that it initially had on the webbing when you first pull it tight. With some finagling and finessing, you can get it somewhat tighter AFTER you thread the end of the belt through its retaining loops, but usually not as tight as you might want it. As a utility belt, this is important because, not only does it need to keep your pants up, but also do it while supporting the weight of whatever gear or accessories you have hanging on it. Since the whole buckling, adjusting, and retightening process takes about 5 minutes, anyone who is constantly in a hurry probable won’t have the patience to wear this one.I’ve been told that I “ain’t got no ass”, so I need all the help I can get. This belt barely supports the weight of my flip-phone and voice recorder holsters together, without pulling my drawers ALL THE WAY DOWN! With all that said, it is still a rugged OK belt for general work or play, but I DON’T recommend it for serious tactical or utilitarian uses. Its also a rather intimidating piece for those who still believe in whipping defiant children.

Before the order I decided to try this fabric belts,But when I open the package I am so pleased I did. They look far more expensive than they cost, they have infinite adjustment and I am confident they will last a long time .The jasgood great belt,I'm very happy with this sturdy belt. I already have black, But i really love the belt ,So I've ordered khaki.The ends have been sealed well so there's little to no chance of them fraying.The buckle is strong and fashion and secures the belt well.So this belt perfect show my taste.The most satisfied are Light weight, good design, cheap materials but also does the job very well.

This belt works grand and stays in place all day. I'm a Courier in/ out of a truck all day so I need a good belt that stretches with me as I move about - this does the trick. Think I'll get another one in the future.

I walk through security checks every day and this plastic buckle passes no problem. The plastic buckle is holding up well, and never accidentally released. The elastic belt works well to adjust as needed.

not much else going on. only complaint was i had to trim the rubber part that goes through the buckle to fit through my pant loops.

I use it when travelling, great for airport security, no metal and you get to keep your pants up.

Perfect belt if your a tad heavy. No longer have to pull up my pants from the waist line to prevent them from falling around my ankles.

After losing a bit of weight all my golf pants slide down a bit, this stretchy belt was the perfect answere.

I liked the belt so much I am going to buy a different colour. Very heavy duty and much more comfortable than a leather belt.

Terrible. Feels like cardboard and is just as flexible.

I bought this for my husband who is a plumber and he says this belt is perfect...it's tough and holds up his jeans snugly. No more plumbers' crack!

Did the trick of not binding or pulling the belly hair while hiking. This one was for my husband but will end up buying on for myself as well.

Use it every day and have active life!

These are perfect. I get an allergic reaction to metal and have always had to wrap the metal in cloth of my old belts but not anymore.
