Exactly as advertised and works perfectly for my needs.
After reading other reviews, I knew exactly what I was getting. They are thin and a bit flimsy, but they are advertised as thin, so no surprise there. That said, they work perfectly for standard size American dollars and will provide the protection I need for my older currency that is circulated and not pristine. They are also perfect for pairing with a harder bill sleeve to provide extra protection for those bills that are uncirculated.

Thin is in! A great way to protect bills from contact with each other, not too thick.
My first reaction when I received these was of disappointment. My local dealer has only one style which is between this and the BCW Toploader. I have since realized that these, while very thin, are not the same as what I am used too. I didn't pay enough attention to the picture when I ordered. While these are thin (not sturdy rigid at all, the bill itself is more rigid that this holder) they do provide value. They do provide some separation between bills and do provide a minimum of protection to maintain print clarity from bill to bill contact.

It's not what I expected but I think it'll do
I have some vintage currency that I wanted to protect from fingerprints and the elements so I thought I'd give these a try. The plastic is thin it opens like an envelope from the top. There isn't any way to seal the envelope. I was hoping for something that could actually seal the envelope. These envelopes provide minimal protection. I'm protecting uncirculated $2 bills with sequential serial numbers. And some other currency that was printed to back in the 50s and 40s. My currency It's not what a true collector would call a collectable. If you have more valuable vintage currency and each individual bill is worth $50 or more I wouldn't recommend these envelopes.
