It helped
I bought this product to try and find the reasons for my dogs skin condition. Test was easy to use and results were back quickly. Test showed several wrong sensitivities, one being chicken which is one of the most common products in most dog foods. By removing this from his diet the skin condition completely resolved within a month. After many trips to the vet this was a very cheap way to resolve an issue that was very distressing for my dog.

Does not provide the outcome you may be seeking
The positives first - the test arrived on time and the directions were easy to follow. The hair was taken from my dog and sent for testing. The results were received within a week and was quicker than promised. Now the negatives - I am extremely disappointed with the outcome / results. I do consider that the list of items to be tested is misleading. I bought this test in the hope that it would point us in the right direction with digestive issues and which foods could start to be avoided if they showed a high reading. It has only advised things that my dog was highly sensitive to which are not foods you would actually feed to a dog. I have sent an email to the company and expressed my disappointment who have kindly responded to advise that "the test is designed to not only test for items a pet is most likely to be fed but also items they may come into contact with whether this is outside or unintentionally. Therefore we test for a number of foods more commonly consumed by humans which a pet may ingest. I have requested a copy of all of the items that my dog has been tested for but so far a response is awaited. I am sorry to say that I would not recommend this test to anyone seeking to rule out allergies / intolerance's for their pet.

Very informative
Our cat had an upset stomach and the runs for a while, vets could not find anything wrong so we tried this as a last resort. I was shocked to find out all the food she has an intolerance to, as a result of the test we have changed food and she now improving. Well worth the money to find out. Results came via email in just over a week

Straight forward product to use
Test arriver promptly and was straight forward to use by just obtaining some strands of hair from my dog. I was also pleased that the return postage was also included in the price so it was straight forward just posting it back in the provided envelope. I received my results back via email about a week later which was slightly quicker than expected. I thought the result would have been more in depth as it only highlighted things that my dog was highly sensitive to where as I thought it would have provided results for everything. That being said, 1 thing that it said was highly sensitive my dog was actually eating at the time + once I removed it the ear inflammation and itching did reduce, this may be a coincidence but I’d like to think the results were quite accurate even though they can’t state allergies only sensitivities.

Great test
Our dog suffers from lots of allergies and intolerances. We dd the vet expensive test for environmental allergens (she is on immunotherapy for those) and this one we did mainly for food intolerances. We didn't get the results initially but with a great customer service we did get them separately in my email and also got the full list of items the test included, upon our separate request. Now about the results. Several of the environmental allergies are similar to those we got in the vets test so that is good. About the items that our dog tested high for food intolerance I still need to investigate but I am surprised that potato and chicken were not in the list as I know that our dog is highly sensitive to both of them! Anyways will introduce some new foods into her diet based on the results and only time will tell!

Vet told me my cat has food allergies She was constantly biting her back by her tail and pulling her fur out so I bought this kit sent in her fur and now have her complete allergy lists and it saved me about $300 that the vet would charge for blood work at the vet. Now her fur is growing back and she’s not scratching and biting anymore. All I have to do is read the cat food labels.
