These are outstanding speakers. I’m using them for my surround sound TV system. They look great and extremely clear pure sound.

works great in my home TV 5.1 set-up with a good quality center channel etc - without talking up a lot of space. It really is too bad that most speakers are just (large) ugly boxes.

Good things do come in small packages. These speakers are great .Sound quality is excellent. Highly recommended.

After a few months of ownership I came to the conclusion the pair of B&W 707 S2s I had purchased as satellite speakers were a tad too much in size to suit my small living room, so I repurposed them and decided to try these little gems to match my little living room. Tried them out on Yellow Submarine and Top Gun Maverick in 5.1 and found them quite bright and appealing. At my age a fella needs to muster all the "bright" (waning) high frequencies he can, however, for those in search of more punch in a satellite speaker, keep looking. Oh, I should add that I came across a few comments from some customers who complained about having difficulties mounting these speakers. Must be true since one of the two that was shipped had clearly been returned for that reason. Although I had no quarrel with the turnaround and kept the unit anyway, the mounting bracket was clearly scored with scratches from the previous owner's attempts. No bother, it's in perfect shape otherwise, and I prefer using them on a stand anyway. Good speaker, just not ready for the big time. Gee, I hope its previous owner didn't drop it!

I was using these speakers as a rear surround 5.4.1 surround system driven by a Marantz Cinema 50. I was impressed with their good looks and great reviews. I needed a wall mount speaker I could angle a bit and I thought these would be a good fit. The first problem I had was the wall mount. The connection from the wall mount to the speaker is fragile and I found it difficult to assemble. You have to tighten down two screws on a clamp while you're holding the speaker upright. The next problem was the thin sound. I don't need a lot of bass or even midrange in my system from these speakers, but the overall sound was weak even after running the room correction software. The last problem was that one of the speakers died. I suspect one of the wires in the arm got pinched but I couldn't find anything to repair so they're sitting in a box right now.

I bought six of these to complete my surroundsound system. Connected them temporarily to my cinema 30, and they sound great. Now I just need to fish the walls.

Una vez en mi poder, al abrir la caja me encuentro que el altavoz que recibo es el modelo antiguo B&W MT50 que no es el que se muestra en la pagina. El nuevo tiene algo mas de prestaciones. Por lo tanto no muy contento con la adquisicion

Estas bocinas tienen respuesta muy plana a partir de los 63 Hz hasta más de 23kHz. Realmente tienen buena respuesta dinámica. Obviamente se tienen que instalar junto con un subwoofer. Las probé primero con un ampli estéreo de dos canales y LP’s, y la separación de canales fue adecuada para la fuente de audio. Su conexión final es como bocinas de presencia frontal para un receiver con Atmos. La música suena muy espectacular, pues el decodificador muestra la separación y claridad por medio de ellas. Después, viendo películas, aquellas que son 7.1 o Atmos se siente el helicóptero o los truenos pasar por encima de la cabeza. Valen la pena.

The speakers are what they appear to be. They look great, fit nicely into a TV cabinet and perform as fronts for my little home theater with great crisp sound.

Come si può leggere anche nelle riviste specializzate e internazionali di HIFI , B&W anche con queste minute M-1 stupisce per dettaglio e fronte sonoro. Le ho abbinate ad un Marantz Melody Media M-CR610 ed a un sub-woofer sempre B&W , l' ASW608 e suona eccellente sia con le colonne sonore My Sky HD che con Apple TV , CD, musica liquida ad alta risoluzione, ecc. Veramente un prodotto eccellente , versatile e con un ottimo design. Le ho posizionate a fianco del TV.
