Works beautifully! The cheap wooden supports under my platform bed broke causing the mattress to sag in the middle. This support has saved my back! It was easy to attach and is very sturdy. Better than the original wooden supports.

Ok so you can see I didn't purchase this for what it's intended purpose is. I bought this small computer desk for my personal gaming system and it works great except for this shelf. It started bowing almost immediately so I looked around at different shelf support and couldn't find anything that looked sturdy enough to hold my monitor. This is heavy metal and easy to adjust and install. I decided against screwing it into the shelf because it may need a few adjustments and I feel more comfortable not doing that.

Our bed was previously held up by 8 inch wood posts. Any shifts in the bed would potentially crack the posts. We eventually got one of these items, and it greatly stabilized the bed, so we decided to get two more to have all the pegs be these metal legs. There's now no movement in the bed at all. It even has an edge that's safe on hard floor, and extenders I cluded if you have high beds. The only thing I would say to be careful about is potential metal shavings around the ground portion of the peg, bad splinters!

Overall very sturdy product and easy to install, however most of these had some type of residue all of them left over via a sticker possibly. Also while they all worked some of them were angled slightly differently. Installation still went so 4 stars for me.

Not that easy to install, especially if 1 person. Took me over an hour. Works great though and provides the extra support needed for frame.
