Can't be used indoors
It's a very neat-looking stove and heat up the room very fast. However, it can't be really used indoors or even in a tent because smoke keeps coming out from the top. In the end my husband had to weld the top to stop the smoke.

Great looking and working
Simply awesome stove, used it in my onetigris at the weekend and wow it kicks out some heat. Dont overkill and ensue dont light it too late in the morning as takes ages to cool down. The window is a lovely touch in the dark. The paint comes away if you spill oil on it when hot as I found out. Great stove but take a pipe brush as the spark arrested clogs easily.

Allows smoke out.
An excellent stove for outdoor use but the removable top means that smoke escapes from the top of the stove to the extent that I have refused to use in in my glamping tent. the top warped after first use and the retaining clips don't hold it securely.

No more cold camping.
Sturdy and well made.Great heat and great draw on the fire. At one stage I had to cut back on the air to stop too much of the flue glowing red.

A well thought out piece of kit.
We trialled several different designs of stove, this design was by far the easiest to keep running and worked well for boiling and cooking. The window is a nice touch when sat relaxing, and we found that the low to the ground design worked better for several reasons; it means that it can be set closer to the edge of the tent making it less intrusive, the overall footprint is small and square so the legs are less likely to get kicked or knocked, and although it does get warm under the stove it does not get too hot and it makes a great space for drying tea towels and socks! We were doubtful over the spark arrestor but even with very sparky pine timber, any sparks that did escape were very cool and did not get further than a couple of feet before disappearing. We would confidently use the stove with other tents around. We purchased a generic water heater to attach to the stove pipe and that worked fine for warm water, getting it to boil did take a while but once it was at temperature it held fine, then we had access to more tea than we ever needed.A great addition to our Bells, extending our camping season, providing a multi-purpose heat source and makes a great pot of coffee.NB. I did not purchase this item through Amazon but direct from the company, as such I was unable to leave a review on their website, and have left one here as an unverified purchase.
