Beware the buckle width
Only complaint about this is the width of the buckle. It may not fit thru some belt loops. I had to put it on my Levi’s before I put my jeans on by kinda turning it sideways. Probably gonna take a minute to get back thru as well so if you’re looking for speed when getting dressed this prolly ain’t for you

Good product, was surprised at how good it was and affordable.
Great belt so far, haven't been able to use it that much since it is summer, but it feels good and is sturdy. Only hard part is adjusting it on the move. Takes time to find the right fight.

I have a new belt.
I haven't been able to wear the denim section in my wardrobe for years. Because I could not find a good belt that would adjust to my waist. I'm pretty big man and this belt has changed me and all the clothes I wear out on occasion.

Open carry. Replaced a Blackhawk riggers belt
I used a Blackhawk riggers belt (essentially this same item but without the cobra buckle) for 10 years before Velcro started to give out. I loved it. So when I went to look for a replacement I figured I would try this out as the absence of a quick release on the Blackhawk was a little obnoxious to deal with at times. For a pro, the cobra buckle on this thing is amazing. I feel very secure with it. I didn’t expect to feel that way. I was a rock climber and rapeller, both for casual enjoyment and fun as well as for tactical (former police) and rescue (former SAR/EMS) situations. So I’m used to trusting my life to equipment. I was nervous about the buckle until I got it and put it through the wringer. I have every faith and confidence this would hold up both my weight and another person’s weight together. Same with all the materials this belt was with. High grade across the board. The material is similar to seat belt material. It’s NOT going to give, tear or stretch on you. And the components, like the buckle and D ring will not fail. The bad? Remember I said it’s like seat belt material? Well, for a normal person normal application, that’s great, it’s not to rigid and it’s flexible. It’s bit going to dig into you. But for me, that’s a detractor and is why it got only 4 stars from me. I’m an open carrier. I started in las enforcement, wound up SWAT trained, post-9/11 I did govt security counter terrorism contracting work, I’m a part time tactical trainer, and I assembled a fugitive recovery task force. My training and life has been open carry, and I likewise do the same in my personal life. My off duty time I wear this belt with a level 3 retention holster and firearm on strong arm side, and two back up magazines and their pouch, and a retention off hand combatives fixed blade knife on the weak side. This belt holds up to the demand, no question. I have no concern or worry. BUT, the material is soft and gives unlike the more rigid Blackhawk belt which holds its shape. The floppy feel when buckling in or unbuckling is just not desirable, and the belt needs to be snug to ensure the weapon holster doesn’t cant under the weight of the firearm. This can be an asset too though. As it is much easier to shift the ride position when getting into a car to avoid the dreaded console-flesh-dig-in. Wear it snug, and your weapon will be where your hand is trained to expect it to be. No problem for defensive/combative/security/rescue operations. I recommend it. But for competitive shooting, times shooting, 3 gun, etc., get a different belt that is stiffer like the Blackhawk one I wore for ten years. The give in this belt could cost you a tenth of a second on the shot clock if you don’t cinch it down tight or train with it. It’s NOT a stiff gun belt. Leather belts are more rigid.Appreciate it for what it is, and you’ll love it. As I said, I have a substantial amount of weight and gear on this belt, and I have every confidence in it. It just needs to be snug. The trade off for having a rapid release is worth it in my opinion.

Good
It works just fine, I have not tested the link however. I will clip it to a rope and see if it hold my weight🤷♂️

Nice for the price, BUT...
Considering how reasonably priced this belt was, I wasn't expecting it to be built well, but it seems fairly well built. Here is where the BUT comes in...the cobra buckle does not fit through most belt loops. I haven't tried it on my BDUs yet, but the buckle is way too big on my jeans and my Wrangler "wannabe 5/11" pants.Just a heads up for those wanting to wear this as an EDC belt.

Low expectations for this and they were not exceeded.
I purchased this to carry a T-rex Ragnarok OWB holster. The primary use is around the house or in the yard just to have a sidearm on my person comfortably while working. I have other high quality expensive belts for specific uses (Esstac,Beltman,Blackhawk,Kore) and for this I just wanted something inexpensive that I can leave the holster on and not have to thread through my belt loops each time, hence the cobra style buckle.I know this is not a "gun" belt. That is obvious. but, sometimes I don't want to feel like I'm wearing a metal band off a wooden barrel around my waist. When I pulled this out of the box I was immediately disappointed even for the low price. I had low expectations but even then, the nylon webbing is just flimsy, the buckle is flimsy. It's a joke to think they have this setup like a riggers belt because you are out of your mind if you trust the buckle with your life. Compare a legitimate cobra buckle like on my Esstac belt to this one and it's painfully obvious. And again I get it, it was cheap. But be realistic. If you plan on wearing this like a normal belt and threading it through your belt loops good luck. You need to take the webbing out of the buckle end every time you take it on and off and then try to get it adjusted. It's not made for that purpose.

Great belt for the price
I’ll keep this short and sweet. Overall the belt is fantastic. Feels well made and sturdy. The buckle is great and having quick release is awesome. Only cons I’ve found is the little elastic keeper for the loose end isn’t stitched in place so it’s easy to lose when removing the belt from pants.

Two Stars
