Icebreaker Merino Men's Helix Long Sleeve Zip

The icebreaker jacket is awesome & quality has always been exceptional.However, what I received was a well used/ damaged Icebreaker jacket. The top pocket zip is broken, the cuffs have 2 holes in them, split lining, discoloured neckline & the main zip is showing clear signs of damage. Refer attached photos. How is this possible! The tag was not attached as you would expect from a new item. More than disappointed as i intended to use this on a overnight back country bike trip in 9 days.Edit. Thursday 19th Sept. New jacket received. Perfect timing for a long wknd bike packing. I'm 1.79m (5' 10") tall with a athletic upper body (strong/ large pecks/ chest muscles). Typically a firm fitting size 41 business shirt. This jacket fits perfectly across my shoulders & chest & allows plenty of movement. I will be using it to keep warm in the hut when off the bike or wearing as a stylish outdoor 3 season jacket. I have never regretted buying quality & always appreciate when at a reasonable price. Love this jacket. I had the older model and ended up giving it to my dad because he loved it so much. I was having a difficult time choosing between this color and the black and am so glad I picked this. It's like a dark grey but also a hint of blue with that lovely pop of deep red. Really nice. It's a perfect fall and spring jacket. I've given another one away as a gift (the women's version) and the recipient can't stop raving about it. Fantastic product.I also own the Arc'teryx Atom SL and was choosing between the Atom LT and this jacket and chose this one. Why? if you run hot like I do, this one wicks way better and holds up better when you're sweating like crazy. The other one keeps you kind of soppy and damp which never feels great. Only downside is because it's wool, when it's wet...it's definitely not great.

Great jacket. But it did not run according to the size chart on their website at all. Even if wearing layers, the medium was not a 39/40. Larger. At least a 42. Expecting a trim fit like the picture but it was too large.

Bought this because I have a few other Icebreaker tops that are excellent and the price was right. I am a 45" chest with a muscular build and the XL fitted well. It seemed a little tight in the arms and chest at first but the elastine keeps it stretchy so providing that I only wear a thin base layer it fits very well. Well made with enough pockets it is a very smart but practical jacket. As soon as I received it I went on a quick 4 mile power walk on a cold day to check it out. Was almost too warm at the end of this but very pleased with its performance...so much so, I then bought a hoody version.

Awesome jacket for a insulated layer when riding motorcycles. Flexiable, vents heat at pits and help block wind on the chest.

Great fit very warm comfortable and dressy at the same time

Everytime I wear this jacket I get a compliment on how good it looks and they want to know the brand and where I bought it. I went with the dark green color because it was less expensive, my size was available and I liked the color. I am a bigger sized guy 5'8" and 255lbs. The coat is a 2XL and a little snug around the core areas. Because I like it and I plan to lose weight I didn't return it for a 3XL. The only drawback in it's design is the zipper is reversed and I am not used to it. But because it works so smoothly it is no hassle. Buy it because you will like it!

Love this jacket!

Bought this as have an earlier season version which I was extremely happy with.This one has an odd diagonal external pocket unlike the internal, straight up and down pocket of my previous jacket.I have a large phone, which does fit in the new pocket but it looks and feels awkward and restricts movement.Suggest you avoid this jacket if you have a large phone like me. I regret having bought this.

Deceptively warm jacket and smart. Can be worn alone or layered. Quite long in the body, but keeps bum warm!
