Great to ware with or without make up. Face stays matte without drying your skin.

I'm undecided about this product. It definitely feels great going on and if I'm not wearing makeup if feels great. But when I pair it with a medium coverage foundation it feels tacky and the foundation doesn't look smooth. I might try the tinted version next. I'm a fan otherwise.

I really like Coola brand so I wanted to try this and I must say the texture is like putting glue on your face! Not easily absorbing into the skin and it dried with a film like layer. I would not recommend this product.

I had to return this. I was hoping it would work for me because I love the formula of the Sun Silk Drops. Unfortunately the sunscreen actives in the Drops irritate and burn my eyes, and cause breakouts on my skin if I try to use them regularly. I was thinking maybe the mineral Sun Silk formula would be better, but it's far too moisturizing for my skin, and it leaves a pasty while cast that looks like a mixture of vaseline and chalk. Makeup didn't work to cover it up, because it wound up lightening my foundation, making me look ridiculous.The good thing that came out of this return was I decided to trade it for Coola Mineral Cucumber Matte Finish sunscreen and I love it! It's amazing that the same company makes mineral sunscreen formulas that have such vastly different results on skin, but I guess that's why there are thousands of different sunscreens on the market. The trick is finding the one that works for your skin. I was worried that the Coola Matte sunscreen would be thick and occlusive like some that I've tried from La Roche Posay, but it's the opposite. It's even lighter feeling in texture than EltaMD UVClear. I switched from EltaMD because I feel that physical sunblocks work better with my makeup, last longer when I swim, and don't get "watered down" as easily when other products are on my face. I have no idea if this is scientifically provable beyond my own observations, with my personal products, though. This may not be the case for everybody.

When I bought this, I thought it was a bigger size. When I received it in that big box, I thought it was bigger. But for $42, I didn't expect 1.5oz. colorscience is a few dollars cheaper for a few more tenths of an ounce, and it works way better! This Coola stuff is thinner than most other sunscreens, and it goes on so smooth and feels wonderful. But when it dries, my whole face dries, and this stuff turns white. My friends are constantly rubbing my face to try and get rid of the white spots. It's brutal. And the pump gets tubes of dried up product stuck in there, and I'm thinking there goes $2 worth of product! What a waste. When I saw the size of this bottle, I expected something spectacular. Instead, this is the worst mineral facial sunscreen I've ever tried. For the price, I feel like they grifted me.

This is a truly unscented product that I love. I leaves a little white cast that can be easily rubbed in. Super lightweight and somewhat moisturizing, but I also have combo/oily skin. No breakouts whatsoever for my acne-prone skin. My only gripe is that I use two pumps a day, and it seems to be running out exponentially fast! This is a pricier product, and I absolutely love it, but for how fast it runs out, I seriously have to break a piggy bank to purchase another.

My sensitive, mature skin needs a double layer of sunscreen. This works great as the first layer. My CC cream with SPF goes on smoothly after this product. It is not cheap!

Have been using Coola for three years now and is the most effective, friendly to the skin and moisturising sunscreen product i’ve ever used. Highly recommend it!
