Braun Refill Head 32S

I finally replaced the old head, and it's working better than i expected. I had totally used the old one way beyond it's expected life. To the point where the foil was breaking and sharp edges poked up. (See the photo.) In the past I usually would replace the whole shaver, but it has as much power today as before, and with the new head is giving me a good shave. I tend to be in a hurry while shaving, wanting to go fast. This shaver works really nice if you go slow and let it do it's magic. And too fast can pull a few wiskers. Overall, it's still a good shaver and i won't wait as long this time to order a new head. 2 years is way to long. June 12, 2025 UPDATE I wore out this shaver head! I ordered 2 new heads of a different maker, and they fit fine but are really cheaply made. We'll see how long they last, and I'm guessing - not very long! I changed it out around Jan 2025.

I’m a Braun shaver guy — and have been for 20 plus years. I go through the head regularly due to a variety of reasons. I’ve tried other shavers, but I have a heavy beard and this is the only one that does a decent job. I most recently broke the mesh screen on the top shaver part during a flight when it was in my luggage. I went online and was tempted by many off-brand options, but ultimately chose this one and didn’t realize it was chrome. Or at least chrome plated plastic. In any event, it is smooth and clicked on perfectly.

I've purchased more razors over the years than I care to admit. Obviously, one of the most important reasons for purchasing would be getting a comfortable and close shave. However, I discovered that a number of razors will give you such, however if you want to continue to use that shaver you have to replace worn cutters or foil heads on a regular basis, and I found this can get rather expensive.....in some cases ridiculously expensive because of premature wear. And so that ongoing cycle would occur of how long I would stick with a shaver given depending on how long the cutters and heads would last. I'd find that quite often it would only be months and in a relatively short term, when you're having to spend more for the maintenance accessories than the actual shaving unit, that just didn't seem very feasible or efficient in continuing. In 2021 I bought a Braun 3000 Series shaver that wasn't very expensive and given my past history with electric shaver replacement cutters/foil heads, purchased a spare set for the inevitable time they'd need replacing. I even noticed that on the replacement package itself there was a recommendation that you follow through with the replacement every 18 months to ensure a good shave. 18 months!!! Yeah, right! I have NEVER had either the cutters and definitely not the foil head last anywhere near that.....EVER! And so...I have used this shaver regularly for these past 3 years and it was only a month ago that I decided to replace it! It was still giving me a decent shaver...just took a little longer to do so and the head was still intact...didn't eat thru like all my other ones had over the years. I bought another 'spare' replacement...about $25. I recall some replacement units were well over $50 a pop and quite often you had to buy the cutters and foil heads separately. This replacement is a unit...has both the foil head and cutter in one piece. Bottom line...this is so much better, efficient and cost-effective. I get a great shave and don't have to shell out more money for necessary shaver maintenance. Highly recommend!!

Mfgr recommends replacing very 18 months. I do every 6- 9 months. I feel I get better shaves. They always work right out of the package. Make sure you mount it firmly or it can pop off and hit the sink when you're using it.

I've had a Braun S3 3010 series shaver for more than 7 years and it's been my absolute favorite shaver (eat that Norelco and your funky three-headed shaver that trims like a weed-eater), so you can imagine how bummed I was when my foil head started to get dull and do a poorer job of cutting. Given that my shaver and its heads had lasted as long as they had I couldn't really complain, but I was really hoping I could replace the foil head so that I wouldn't have to buy a whole new shaver, and LO AND BEHOLD I found this listing! Not only is this listing an OFFICIAL Braun product, it's also very well priced and available! Now my shaver cuts like new again and I don't have to press so hard against my face to get that nice close shave that I (and my wife) crave. This replacement head rocks! Pros - Makes the shaver cut like it did when I first unboxed it - Very clean and satisfying cut. It's not as precise and flawless as a regular razor, but you don't have to worry about cutting yourself, buying shaving cream, or getting yourself all wet - Doesn't pull on your hair (unless you tread into really long hairs that could get caught in the casing) - Price/value Cons - Magnets, how do they work? Conclusion This is a fantastic replacement head, pick one up today!

As good as name brand

Genuine Replacement Cutter Head is the way to go! First of all, I bought my Genuine replacement cutter head as sold & ship by AMZ. I can say that head made my 2.5 year old shaver good as new. I got 2.5 years out of the original blade, but I should have replaced it sooner, but I just had to get to that breaking point. What makes me write this particular review is I recently came off a less than ideal experience with a generic replacement shaver head. The brand I went with was right off the bat very noisy. On its first shave, it pulled a couple hairs. In less than a week, the generic blade was pulling a bunch of hair out of my face rather than cutting it! I immediately bought the genuine replacement blade to make sure it wasn't the motor/body half that was the problem (it wasn't). For me, I realized in this case paying a premium price for genuine, provides a premium product. I also believe in in Sold & Ship from AMZ.

I have an average beard and shave every 2-4 days. The foil and cutter head is my first replacement, the one that came with my Series 3 shaver lasted just a little over a year. I just tried the replacement 4 days after the last shave and the performance is as good as the new shaver. Hopefully the replacement will last the 18 months claimed by Braun but the original one was not close to that.
