Works perfectly.
If this is for use as a replacement for a faulty switch for the brand/style of furniture dictated by the manufacturer (meaning the correct switch for the model), it works perfectly. It takes longer to remove the broken/old switch than it does to install the new one. Suggestion during install, plan the run the wire must travel due to articulation of parts and use a zip tie to control extra wire. Again, A+ score.

Easy to install
Install this two-button power switch first before you buy the more expensive motor actuator. There's a good chance that the less expensive button power switch is defective. Mine was.It was frustrating as sometimes it would work when I pressed the buttons. But then the recliner would get stuck in its last position. No matter how many times I pressed the buttons, the motor wouldn't engage. I tried plugging and unplugging the AC cord, even making sure the AC cord wire connector was connected to the motor actuator. I read a previous review here to try replacing the button switch first. This only takes about 5 to 10 minutes.First unplug the power adapter from your AC outlet. Then turn the chair over on its side. Next remove the two small phillips screws from the button on the exterior of the switch control. Then locate the motor actuator and gently pull out the plug cord that connects to the button switch. The button switch cord has a couple of plastic clip fasteners than run underneath the chair. Cut these clips with a sharp pair of utility scissors, wire snips or knife, then pull out the button switch and cord. Then install the new button switch with the phillips screws. Store the slack cord underneath the chair arm, or purchase some plastic zip ties to secure the cord wire underneath the chair.

Saved a lot of money
This was an easy fix. If I had called in a recliner repairman it would have cost a couple of hundred dollars. I did this easy fix for under $20

Carefully inspect the cable between the switch and the motor!
I had myself convinced that the motor on my couch had fried after ten years of faithful service. In fact, I swore I could smell burning motor the day it quit. Since it was stuck in the recline position, I spent the next 7 or 8 weeks crawling onto and off of the couch. Finally, I did a close inspection of the wire between the motor and the switch and found a small break in the insulation. Turns out the wire used on these cables is extremely thin and a small short was all it took to kill the motor operation. I installed the new switch and....surprise! The motor came back to life. I can't guarantee replacing the switch will work for you, but it worked for me.
