good little strips with double testers on each strip.

These work great. I can see they work correctly because it showed high Ketosis then I had a cheat meal and it's back to showing me out of Ketosis. Then I watch Ketosis slowly start again as I am strict with my carnivore diet and they're fully registering Ketosis around the 4th day. One day I had been super strict with absolutely zero carbs for a few days and felt like death. I said I am probably in the highest Ketosis judging by my eating and how I felt. I did the test and sure enough its really dark red meaning super high Ketosis. I just said "Yep, that's why I feel like I'm dying" (attached that photo). So they are consistent with how I eat and feel, so I know they are accurate and I am losing weight quickly. One cheat meal and it knocks me out of Ketosis as expected. It helps me not to cheat, because I see by the tests that I take 4 days to fully enter ketosis again. No cheat carb is worth the 4 days to re-enter ketosis. The only drawback is once you open it they only last about a month, so take as many tests as you want, because they will expire quickly.

I purchased these as a cheaper alternative to another brand I have from my doctor. I tested them thoroughly and discovered they were not reliable at all. My bottle stated the expiration was not until 2027. First test: While late into fasting, I compared these strips with those I received from my doctor. These showed no indication of ketones. Second Test: I repeated the first test at a later time. Same failed result! Third Test: I used 4 of these strips on the same urine. Two had no indication. The other two had inconsistent color change. The purpose of buying this product is to reliably detect ketones. This product cannot be relied upon to meet its intended purpose. I would not recommend this product to anyone. They have no value.

Inconsistent in their accuracy. Most never changed color, even when one did change which I did two at the same time. Also once wet the colors become rather yellowish, and I ended up using a second strip as a Control Strip and dipped it in water to compare the strips. Unfortunately the water and urine were both the same color, even though I was 4 + days into a ketone diet. Admittedly I am close to the expiration date but the issue started from opening the bottle.

According to instructions mismatched colors means faulty test. But for the price can use 2 sticks at a time (4 pads). Maybe not the most accurate but general idea to validate in or out of ketosis.

So far, so good. I will check them versus a breath ketone meter in the future.

I wouldn’t recommend this product due to a lack of granularity in results. The color change is very subtle and the units are further apart than I would like. Jumping from 1.5 to 4.0 mmol/L is huge and the color isn’t drastically different. Difficult to know where you are with these strips.
