Very cleansing
Doesn't smell at all lemony like fresh melissa (lemon balm). more of a dried grass smell. This is normal for lemon balm and not a defect in the item. I use it after one of our cats have use their litter trays to clean and deodorised the air. It has an antiseptic effect and seems to neutralise the odor, not just mask it.
