Quiet and circulated air
Very happy with the purchase. I have the fan mounted in my single stall garage and works great. I'm strictly using the fan to circulate air in my garage when I am washing my car during a hot and humid day in Iowa. It is easy to put together and mount on the wall. I have attached a picture and a video of the fan being used on high setting. It does give off a dull sound when in use, what fan doesn't give off some noise. The fan has three speeds and you can turn the on/off oscillating setting and the head of the fan tilts down. I have not owned the van but a month or less and for the money, it works well for what I need it for.

Fantastic Fan
So easy to use. Just pull the string! I have it in my garage and can point it to wherever I want by stopping the oscillation at that point, or have it cover the entire garage. Powerful and quiet. A++.

Powerful, has capacity to make noise
Powerful fan and easy install. The Hurricane I purchased was the 18" white fan. Initially I was going to return it (bigger than what I really needed), however, the seller reached out to me and offered an option. I'm really glad I kept it. I live in north central Florida in a small trailer and even in November and December I've found it still to be too warm inside to not have circulation going. Normally, I would just open the windows, unfortunately... original windows of this trailer that cannot be opened because of age. There are three setting options: low, medium and high. Personally, at night, I like to keep it on "medium". It also has strings (cords) to turn the wall-mounted fan on and off plus with the oscillation. This is a well built fan, except, in this department (strings) I believe they could have done so much better. I don't use the strings because I'm afraid they will snap right off. This one did not come with a remote control, it's okay... I'm from the day where you had to actually get up to change the channel. Some people have said it's super quiet - maybe they work in a factory or have a different type of fan, it's NOT quiet. In my opinion, it's not super loud either. I happen to like my fans to make a certain amount of noise, it's what helps me to sleep or relax (ya know, "white noise" so I don't have to hear my husband nag at me about how I've spent money I don't need to spend). Last thing, I have no idea how long this will last. As we all know, most corporations/manufacturers (CEO) are in the business to drain all of our money out of our bank account so they can grow fat and lazy off our hard earned money and they make sure that things we purchase today will not last very long. That being said, I'm hoping I will get at least a year or two out of this item. Would I buy it again at this point, sure would, works for the purpose I need it. Talk to me several months later and we'll see if it's still working.

Great fan, one obnoxious shortcoming
Bought this fan for my sons’ shared bedroom as they both got new loft beds and so the ceiling fan had to go so they didn’t cut their heads off.. This fan does a fantastic job moving enough air on the low setting with the oscillation on to keep them both cool at night and circulate their gaseous emissions , and it is no louder when running on that setting than the air moving through the vents is when the AC kicks on. On high, this sucker will definitely blow your grandpappy’s wig off! Holy Moses it moves some air, and it really isn’t all that loud on high either, just the sound of the air moving, no mechanical noise. Was super easy to install, and I think I had the whole thing done in like 15 minutes. Overall, highly recommend. WHAT’s THE SHORTCOMING? Glad you asked. Some numb nuts efficiency engineer figured out he could save the company a buck a unit if they put a 5 foot cord instead of a six foot cord on it. That numb nut’s scatter brained brother then decided to install said cord on the top of the unit instead of the bottom. With standard wall outlet heights being 18”, this presents a bit of a pickle if you want to install the fan near the top of a room with eight foot ceilings. So, I took away a star for value and overall pain in the butt because now I have to shop for a tiny extension cord so that the cord attached to the fan isn't overly taut.

Quiet, Affordable, & Works Great!
Purchased this fan to use above our pellet stove to help move heat into other rooms. It functions very well and is much quieter than our old one. It oscillates, but we don't use that feature. We shortened the strings for the controls because they were very long. Which is great, as it allows you to decide how long you need them. Very easy to install. Just screw the bracket to the wall and attach the fan with a bracket already attached by sliding it onto the wall bracket. The only thing that would make this better is if the power cord came out of the bottom of the unit rather than the top. Having it at the top makes it harder to keep it away from the stove. So, we are going to use cable ties to keep it close to the wall. The 18" diameter and different fan settings really helps push warm air to other parts of the house. It's also very affordable compared to other similar units. I would definitely purchase this fan again.

Very well made fan.
I looked a long time to find the perfect wall mounted garage fan. This Hurricane 18in fan is a good one. I'm very OCD so I did a lot of planning and I wired a new outlet for it. It moves a lot of air, very quiet and well made. I also wanted to be able to quickly take the fan cage off and be able to remove the blade for cleaning. This fan is perfect for that, three clips move up to remove the front cage then a large nut spins off to pop off the composite plastic blade. Even the fan nut is a backwards thread so it is always tightening as it's running. Very well thought out!!!! *******UPDATE ******** I noticed the rear fan cage was missing one of the 5 clamps, I didn't notice it when I was installing the fan. (not a big deal) but I email the company through their web site. I communicated with Chris Elliot, in a few weeks I received a complete new fan cage!!! Wow,,,talk about above and beyond!!!! Needless to say I'm very impressed and if you reading my post wondering about purchasing this fan, you need to buy it, you'll be very happy with it.

Worked great 2 years and is now dead. Planned obsolescence disgusts me. Never buying off this company or seller again. Confirmed with manufacturer, only 1 year warranty

I like the idea of continuous run, wall mounted unit for my garage. Unfortunately, the swing function is not working, brand new and not working. It swings all the time which will suffice however, should i want stationary operation, not gonna happen! I do not want to go through hassle to send it back… will just have to accept as is.

This is worth the extra price. Strong and can run constantly

Moves a lot of air. Worth it.

Lots of power, I only use the lowest speed as I have it in my living room to move heat from the wood stove, slightly noisy because of the size, I’ll buy a smaller one for the living room and put this one in a back area
