Very practical and easy to use .
I loved this portable air pump from EP Auto. It's compact, lightweight, and works super well. It inflates tires quickly and effortlessly, making it ideal for carrying in the car for any emergency. The cable is a good length, and the digital display makes it easy to see the exact pressure. It also automatically shuts off when it reaches the level you set, which is very practical. I've used it several times and it hasn't failed me. Excellent product, highly recommended. 🚗💨

Paid for itself dozens of times over.
Quick review for a product that vastly exceeded expectations. This was my 3rd replacement for cheap tire inflators that failed just a few uses. I had a set of rims that never sealed properly despite being checked and serviced on multiple occasions by different shops, even with new tires mounted. Every wheel would eventually develop a slow leak and I was using an inflator enough to be embarrassed about it. The 3 inflators prior to this purchase failed in just a few uses each. Whether it was the compressor, power cable, or some other electrical issue, nothing around the $20-30 price was going survived what I would even call light use. (Shoutout to Slime products for being some of the most unreliable hardware/junk I've ever used!) I was getting rid of the car and its awful rims, so I really didn't want to spend much on quality. This was my last try before the nuclear option of dropping $100+ on some sort of battery charger/tire inflator combo or behemoth from Milwaukee that I would never use. So I did some very light research and after seeing a few decent reviews, settled on this thing for the same price, 2 years ago. Since then, this solid little unit has done everything I've ever asked of it, and I've asked a lot. It has never failed to air up even a full set of 4 perfectly average, 17" 225/50 tires, from fully flat to overinflated (slow leaks!). Even after pumping up a full set of tires from low pressures, I don't think I ever triggered the overheat protection of the unit. The digital pressure gauge and cutoff feature of the unit are pretty accurate when checked with a manual gauge; I never underinflated a tire in relation to my desired PSI. It's not fast. I don't think you can get --or should want-- fast at this price point, but it is reliable. EPAuto says not to use it on truck tires; I think you probably could if you had to, but singles only, with lots of breaks. They don't seem to have wasted much money on crappy cases that conceal tiny compressors like others at this range, so it doesn't look cool. Oh well, never going to impress anybody airing tires anyway. It has a spotlight, which has come in handy more often than I expected. My biggest knock against the EPAuto is the screw-on valve connector, which can be a pain to use. I always felt like I was losing a pound or two of air while scrambling to disconnect hose quickly, but protip: a little brass schrader quick-connect chuck for $5-10 her on Amazon and that problem is solved. (Or overinflate by a pound or two and stop whining) It comes in a decent little soft carrying case, and it has storage slots for coiling the power cord and air hose. It's crazy, but it almost seems like they cared about how this product might actually be used more than once. It would make a nice little emergency tool for the trunk, even if you own more expensive compressors. I rarely give reviews, but good products at inexpensive prices deserve it.

Get one for each car!
This is my second purchase. I bought my first one of these 5 years ago and it has been a great purchase. It has saved my bacon at least twice, when a tire had a slow leak (and one time a rather fast leak) and I was not anywhere near somewhere with air. Also I can check my tire pressure and top them off at my own home instead of waiting in line at the gas station in terrible winter weather etc. At the price listed, I only have to use it 3 times a year to make up for not paying $2 a fill at a gast station: i have easily used it that much. My first one is still working perfectly after 5 years, but now my teen is starting to drive, so I bought a second one so there will be one in each car, and I can teach my kid how to use it. Great product, easy to use, reliable results 10/10.

Good little pump
I have had this for 5 years and it still works well. Inflates the tires for my CR-V without issue. The PSI gauge is not accurate when first attached to the tire (use a separate tire gauge), but it is accurate when the compressor is turned on and the tire starts to inflate. The power cord is a good length and the whole thing stores nicely in the bag. Not as fast as a pump at the gas station, but it will do the job.

Day one, works well
Just got it today so first impressions, to be updated after 6 months (ish). Seems well built. Added air to my two front tires and it worked well. Relatively quiet compared to my previous Stanley Jump Starter that also had an air compressor (burnt out after limted use, don't recommend). This EPAuto has rubber tipped feet. On my flat concrete carport it was not stable on it's own. Had to keep a hand on it to keep it from walking/vibrating away. This vibration also made the digital reading a bit blurry while held in place on the concrete. Not unreadable but noticable. Maybe if it were held off the ground it would be less but it wasn't really an issue, just something noticeable. The flashlight has no independent on/off switch. Once plugged into the cigarrette lighter it comes on. The flashlight's led lights are nothing to brag about but would do the job if caught in the dark and a nice feature to have. The digital display can be preset to your desired pressure. Mine was 44 psi. The compressor did not stop immediately when it reached 44 psi. At first I thought mine was defective but it did stop, on both tires, before reaching 44.5 psi which would be the next higher setting. So it seems to ensure you've gotten what you set it at and stops just before reaching the next .5 level. Seems acccurate when measured against my conventional tire gauge. The digital display also shows your current pressure when turned on and as it progresses in .5 PSI increments till it reaches your set pressure. In addition to PSI you can also select KPA, BAR, KG/CM on the display. I don't know and haven't googled what this are but they must be useful to someone? Comes with a basic canvas storage bag and an extra fuse as well as a few adaptors for bicycles, balls etc. Small enough to store out of sight under my passenger seat. Not sure how well the overheating auto shut off works which is one of the main reasons I bought this brand. Only took a short time to add 5-8 psi to each of my tires so don't think it was ever in danger of overheating. The compressor body has a hot/heat handling warning label but mine was warm, not hot, after each tire inflation, cool enough to put in the storage bag without concern. The DC power cord is long enough to reach both tires on one side. To do the other side you have to lead the cord out the other door. Overall I like it. Too bad I won't get to use it much now that I finally got both my slow leak tires fixed while waiting for this to arrive.

When I need an air pump to trust my life on, I reach for my EP Auto
I've owned an EP Auto tire inflator since 2020. I trust it more than I trust the Ford inflator in my trunk, that's for sure! I love this little pump. It works every time I need it to work. I've filled my own tires, co-workers tires, stranded motorists' tires... It works well day or night... I can easily read the bright display, even at night. Every time I've needed it, it's been there for me... It works no matter if it's the middle of summer and burning hot outside, or if it's -5 F and freezing cold outside. It overfills by ~0.5 psi so that when you unthread the connection you don't lose the set pressure, now how cool is that!? That's brilliance, to me... The gauge is also spot-on when it comes to showing you the actual tire pressure. I've never had an instance where it's been off by any amount. I've also got a JACO gauge, one of the best in the automotive industry, and I put it on my tire and it reads exactly the same pressure. The only tiny issue I have about this pump is that it shakes around, A LOT, and the little rubber feet are very easy to come loose and lose. This little pump is very durable and has handled the last few years like a champ. The connections are all brass, so they'll never rust. The air flow is very fast to fill up anything you hook it to... I've had tires air up in less than 5 minutes from 12 psi to 35 psi.

EPAuto 12V DC Portable Air Compressor Pump, Digital Tire Inflator
This is the 2nd portable air compressor pump. The first one was a gift for my son’s car (it too was an EPAuto 12V DC Portable Air Compressor Pump). I highly recommend this product because compared to the smaller battery operated ones, you can never be sure that it will inflate all 4 tires on a single charge. This one came in handy especially after the snow/ice storm of 2026 where I had to inflate tires on both of my cars, because of loss of tire pressure due to the cold. You can’t beat the price, portability, and reliability of this product. It’s so easy to use. Just plug it to your car’s cigarette lighter, make sure the compressor is switched to the OFF position, connect the air hose to the tire stem, set the desired PSI on the digital display (I always set mine for .5 over the desired PSI), then turn the machine ON. Then wait for the compressor to do its job. That’s it!
