Crosstex VTGEL Tooth Gel, Unflavored, 4 oz. Tube

My dog had dental issues I was recommended to a TOP dog dentist in central NJ ( she is known all over the state as THE BEST PLACE TO GO.) This is the tooth paste she recommends and sells. She dismissed many others as junk and containing alcohol. My dog is good with it and seems to kill bacteria that causes issues

The clear consistency of the gel seems to stick on their teeth as opposed to regular toothpaste.

It seems to be a good product, but I only wish it was easier to apply to my Siamese kittens' teeth without their absolute disdain when I try to apply!

I just came from a veterinarian dental specialist and he recommended this product. My dog has two broken teeth with roots exposed and the chlorhexidine will kill all and any germs in her mouth. Also he says I should add it to my daily brushing routine. I can put it on after I brush or is a fantastic option for the days I don't have the time too brush. I'm a medical professional and chlorhexidine is the surgical scrub that they prep you for surgery with. It kills everything and will keep your dogs mouth free of plaque. I use it on my face and cured a horrible case of cystic acne that acutane couldnt. Trust me it's a smart buy. My dogs had no problem with it but I decided to add it to their toothpaste they love while I brush then rub the same combination on teeth too leave there. I'm going to try just the gel after I'm done brushing. It's going too save a ton of money on rentals by your dentist. Wont need them as often

I took my dog to a Veterinary Dentist and this is what he recommended. He told me that the products I was using the enzymatic toothpaste was actually making the problem worse for my for my dog. It's upsetting to think that they sell products that you think are helping your dog and actually make the problem worse. Well this is the product that the Veterinary Dentist recommended instead of those products.
