Perfect Size, Just Needs Light Seasoning
I’m really happy with this rolling pin! The size is perfect and not too long or bulky, which makes it easy to control and comfortable to use. It helps dough roll smoothly and evenly. One thing to note is that it does need to be seasoned before use. It was really dry and the dough kept sticking to it. I rubbed a small amount of oil into the wood to keep it from drying out while rolling dough, and that made a big difference. After that, it performed beautifully. If you’re looking for a simple, well-sized French rolling pin that’s easy to handle, this is a great choice. Just be prepared to give it a quick oil treatment before using!

Wooden Rolling Pin
Nice rolling pin. Perfect for rolling tortillas. So very smooth and the length is perfect for the 10” tortillas I make. Dough does not stick to it even if I dont flour the pin. Overall a perfect rolling pin

"Perfect" size for this application
This is a perfect size to roll out Bob's Red Mill gluten free pizza dough (GF is generally pretty bad. Bob's Red Mill is tolerable - for those who must avoid gluten). This dough needs to be rolled out on the pan it's going to be baked on. This is problematic for our regular rolling pin. This fits nicely within the edges of the quarter sheet we use to make the GF Pizza dough. It is quite small (12"), but fits my specific need. I rarely give 5 star reviews, as durability is a key factor in perfection. This product, however, is a chunk of wood. Short of lighting it on fire or some other form of woodworking abuse, this is truly durable.

It's a question of proportions
While this is well made well priced and well sized one has to be considerate of what they're trying to roll. You might come across the situation where you need a larger rolling pin then this as I've discovered. Products good it just got to consider that this particular size you're pressing smaller things
