The General Store by Les Ray

My wife likes to do a few puzzles every year durig=ng the cold winter months. She loved doing this one, it was hard for her to stop each night and couldn't walk by the table without spending a few minutes looking for a piece or two. Interesting picture, not absurdly hard just for the sake of it, but difficult enough to keep her interested. The puzzle has some sentimental value, so we are going to glue it together and hang it uo (if I can find a large enough wall!!!!!

At first I didn't like the looks of the pieces but I actually really enjoyed doing this puzzle. I loved that it had all the awkward sized pieces. That made it more fun to put together. The pieces were pretty thick. Doing the border is a little challenging because some of the pieces look the same but once you get that worked out its all great from there. Pieces fit together nicely so you can put together a chunk of pieces and be able to move it around without it falling apart. A huge plus!

A great puzzle. I've done many puzzles and never has there been a missing piece. There are times that you would swear pieces are missing, but when finished they are all there. I don't believe reviews that say pieces are missing. These are from people who have not finished the puzzle, convinced the pieces are not there. I know it can be frustrating, but just stick with it, it will work out.

I’ve put together several 2,000 piece puzzles during COVID and this one does not meet the quality of Buffalo brand. The correct pieces do not fit together with surety and the picture layer separates too easily. I also miss the paper picture that is included with Buffalo brand puzzles. That helps better than the box lid picture. I am disappointed with my purchase.

Exactly as we pictured it to be! Our experience with all eurographics puzzles is nothing but positive. Until we put it together, I can tell you no more.

I have been working on this 2,000 piece puzzle for seven days now and I am certainly enjoying it. Eurographics pieces are cleanly cut and fit well. The General Store subject is my favourite, with shelves of canned goods and customers in the store. At first I wondered if the subdued colours would be hard to follow, they are subtle but easy to match. Excellent puzzle!

Beautiful, with well- made pieces

Purchased this product after having completed the 1,000 piece book puzzle from Eurographics. I was disappointed to see that the quality was not the same. The cardboard on the back of the pieces stuck out from most pieces making them hard to fit together. The pieces are also strangely shaped compared to the first one. I will not be purchasing this brand again, Ravensburg from now on.
