Fixed our car
This is the only game in town when it comes to new front cv axles for the 2012 Suzuki SX4 my wife and I own. The passenger side failed a week ago and none of the local parts stores sell reman or new half shafts! This one arrive with a ding in the protective shield that goes behind the wheel bearing, but I was able to straighten it out. The car is fully functional again. The test ride after install went well. Vibration upon acceleration is gone now and the car is smooth... I test rode around town, using low and high gearing for the speed traveled and then went out on the highway up to 85 mph to test - everything worked great. As reported in another review - the little shield on the transmission side needs to be removed, as it won't seat with that on there. Maybe the older 2007-2009 cars utilize it? I will report back over time when we have some more miles on the car.

Not always a perfect match
The axle I received was not exactly as pictured. The new axle had a dust collar mounted onto the transmission end of the cv shaft. (see pic's attached) This collar will interfere with the bolts on the transmission case and will not allow the shaft to slide all the way onto the output shaft. I had to remove the collar in order to complete the installation properly. The other difference was there was no rubber damper on the new shaft but this could just be the way the aftermarket axles are made. Everything else fit and tested good, and after a few hundred miles there have been no issues. This company's customer service was very good over the phone and helped me resolve the issue. Update 11/19/19. 14,000 miles later and the new axle is still working fine.
