Little Wigwam Flags and Capitals Placemat, Multicolour

Our 5 year-old grandson loves and studies this placemat. We purchased it for him when he began showing an interest in countries, capitals and world geography. He is becoming very proficient in the subject and will often quiz us on capitals. He did notice, however, that Vatican City is not included on the placemat, while reminding me that it is the smallest country in the world. Super high quality and easy to wipe clean.

Its a great-great-great placemat we have ever had. Even 1years old constantly points on flags and ask what is this) As for 5 years old - he started to remember flags (before he knew only few, but now - more than 5 within 1 months1). Quite durable, bright colors, quality printed.

Great plastic washable placemats for kids (or adults) to aid in learning to recognize country flags! Capital cities also listed - country flags in alphabetical order - fun to make up and play games over dinner.

My 3 year old is obsessed with flags and was so excited to see this, but was upset two favorite well known flags were missing. Also, it’s in alphabetical order which is great for me to follow along but I’m afraid he’s gonna memorize them in that order ... he already knows over 75 flags so he’s working on learning the rest so I hope it doesn’t hinder that. Other than that he loves it so I’m happy. Another thing is his iPad does slide on it when he's using his iPad and eating so I needed to get him another iPad case. But he really does use it everyday and names all the flags he knows Update - my son loves this mat , it has helped him to learn all the flags. So happy with this purchase

Got this for grandkids plus the world map mat. They can turn to a family game during dinner time. One finds flag and one finds the location of a country. It is easy to clean.

Missing a couple countries (like South Sudan and Northern Ireland). But otherwise very nice and informative.

My family has tried both the Painless Learning and Little Wigwam brands of placemats. While the content for the Painless Learning mats is sometimes superior, Little Wigwam makes the better placemats overall because the Little Wigwam mats are made from a sturdy, polypropylene card stock that holds up under repeated use. The laminated cover on the Painless Learning mats eventually begins to peel off. I can't judge how the content of the Little Wigwam World Flag placemat compares with Painless Learning's product because we do not have that specific Painless Learning mat. However, I can tell you that everybody in my family loves the Little Wigwam mats, and I don't expect we'll need to replace them anytime soon.
