We had an old PTAC unit crap out on us in the middle of Summer in this 1940's house we just bought. No warranty & AC guys told us to just replace it. Bet. We got this C&H 15,000 BTU PTAC unit and it arrived in like 3 days. It slid right into the wall sleeve of the old one even though it was a different brand. Easy install. Immediately functioned without issue. We did also have to buy a wall adapter for the plug was an old incompatible one but it wasn't overly expensive. Instant relief from the smoldering heat. Super quiet. Remote works properly. We are definitely happy with our purchase.

Shipping was fast. Came 2 days early resulting in being left outside in rain for 2 days. Dried it out and found that the fan was dislodgec in shipping. Due to the significant weight and hassle with returning the item, dissaslembled and put the fan back in the bearing. Works great. Replaced a 12 year old unit and now the room is cooled properly. Seems to be as advertised. Not the sellers fault that shipping was not as expected. Would buy again, but make sure you are prepared for an early delivery. Will see how durable the unit is as the prior Aman unit lasted 12 years.

Great unit, runs very quiet and cools as well if not better than the Amana we replaced. I would give this 5 stars but the remote and app are not good at all. The remote only works if you are literally within 4 feet of the unit. My plan was to mount the remote near the office entry but it won’t work even at 15 feet away from the unit. The app is very basic and no fine tuning at all. The app should teach energy usage among other things at this price point. Overall a good unit at less the cost of the Amana PTAC units. Hoping it last!

Showed up quickly installition was easy , this was a replacement unit with a sleeve already installed. After the first couple weeks unit started makng a rattling noise, read the reviews people noted it was a bit noisy so i assumed it was what it was. After a while i got used to it. worked fine through the summer, I installed this in July. This past weekend I noticed it was running pretty much all the time. Took the cover off and noticed it was freezing up. I turned it off and just let the fan run. the Ac thawed ut but only blows warm air, Good news is rattling noise is gone, this is very disappointing 4 months is totally unacceptable. I did not buy the extended warranty as Ive 2 other units in my home and have never had an issue. Not sure if I got a bad one or what? Thankfully its not 100 out

Just what I needed

Unit seems to work okay. The box looked like it bounced around on a freighter going through a hurricane and then delivered to a cargo truck that made it through a tornado and then finally got "dropped" off at my house. The condenser deflectors were mangled and the front cover is cracked on both top corners. The price was good so I hope it lasts and if it does not then I hope the warranty department is good.

Easy to use, has a remote with app control, cooling and heat. Keeps the good size room comfortable . Took a few days to ship unsure why. regained a room we were unable to have comfort in
