Cuts apples
Works as intended. Good value. Good size, haven’t met an Apple too big as of yet. Easy to use. Very sharp… (careful with fingers if in a drawer… you will slice yourself like an apple)

One major flaw.
This item is great. It cuts smoothly and is easy to handle. The grip is great design when you have arthritis in your hands as I do. The flaw is that it doesn't cut all the way through. The construction leaves the apple intact by a few millimeters making it a kind of tear and share event. Other than this, it's perfect.

Great way to core and chop an apple
Love this for coring and chopping an apple. It allows me to have nice bite size pieces of apple at my desk when working. I have used a number of times and is keeping sharp.Very easy to wash under the tap or dishwasher.

Good but not perfect.
Blades are strong and sharp enough to tackle a crisp apple with a firm skin. However, the blades are set a couple of mms short of the base of the surround. That means it doesn't cut cleanly right down to the bottom of your fruit. Unless your apple is perfectly round all the way and the stalk is absolutely central, you'll end up with variably sized pieces and perhaps some core. If I wanted to use it for perfect slices for a tart, I'd be inclined to slice the bottom off the fruit and make sure the stalk is exactly central.Overall, not a bad buy if you need a lot of slices of even size and thickness. Easy to clean too and I store it in the plastic zipper bag it came in so as not to blunt the blades (which are probably going to be well-nigh impossible to sharpen). One star deducted because the blades aren't flush with the base.
