Food Dehydrator, 6 Stainless Steel Trays with 6.5 ft² Drying Space

This dehydrator is well-built, priced right, and incredibly easy to operate.I bought it specifically for drying herbs and making homemade yogurt, but it’s also perfect for our yearly tradition of making jerky and dried fruit.​The controls are as simple as it gets—just set the time and temperature, and you’re in business. It runs very quietly with just a faint fan noise in the background; I actually keep it in my ranch office, and it doesn't bother me a bit while I work.​It comes with several stainless racks that hold plenty of product. With a wide range of heat and time settings, it handles everything as slow or fast as you need. The wire grates work great for most things, but for soft fruits and vegetables, I’d recommend using the included plastic tray to keep things from sticking to the metal.​I’ve been using it for a couple of months now and couldn't be happier with it. It’s a great addition to the place.

First off Amazon delivered to the wrong address and thank goodness I have good and honest neighbors as they delivered to me. The machine is nice, easy to set up, easy to clean it seems and style is nice and it is quite. But I am waiting on email support since not taking phone calls. The machines timer seems to not be functioning proper during the set up or break in period. It was set at 165F for 30 minutes and counts down every 3 seconds, but after 1 hour it still showed 28 minutes and 58 seconds to go. So waiting to hear from support. will update with results. also the smell or burn off isn't as horrible as some have said.This today is an update 3/3/23Customer service is slow as it is all done now according to the company by email. It did take over a week back and forth to get answers. There was I believed a problem with the timer but not the temperature. After 6 emails back and forth it turned out to not be a problem except for the explanation in the instruction book. It says the timer runs on 30 minute increments and show 0:30-48:00. When we set timers as say on a microwave for 30 minutes it is as 30:00, but the Cosori for 30 minutes is 00:30 which would be 30 seconds on a microwave or and most other machines. The mind may see the very small print yet the mind see 0:30 yet when setting as on other machines it sets as 30:00. The print needs to be just slightly adjusted for us dummies, and or dyslectic which I am. So larger print showing 00:30 - 48:00 instead of 0:30 - 48:00 would help. The machine is working great and made my first batch of chihuahua's beef jerkey. Thanks for the help and taking into consideration my thought on the instruction booklet as you said you would pass on. Happy at this time with the machine and results, but customer service worked out, t is slow by email..

It works extremely well!! Was blown away at how fast it made beef jerky it called for 6 hours but it only took 4 hours and it was super crispy and delicious. Very quiet and very spacious. Seems very high quality and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to get a quality dehydrator. The rear fan makes it so easy to set and forget without having to worry about rearranging the trays.

Wish I could give this more stars. Exceeded expectations. From the ordering and delivering (Amazon's part) to the product itself. The box that was delivered looked like it was taken care of, not beaten up. The packaging was smart. The manual is straightforward and in English and not a bunch of other languages. The product is aesthetically pleasing. I wouldn't mind it being on display, unlike some of the other designs. Controls are intuitive. Fit and finish seems excellent. I like the size of the 6-tray. Seems like a Goldilocks size for me and maybe 2 people. And for a small-ish household and garden (one reason I have found justification for a dehydrator.) It is amazing, after so much time wanting one, I finally got the "bug" to jump in and ordered it, got it, and dried my first batch of things in less than 24 hours. And at a price that is quite reasonable (about $150 out the door.) I can be pretty pessimistic about the times we live in but some things are truly remarkable about it, too.

Packaged well and arrived in great condition no dents or damage. Used once for some pork treats for our lab Buddy and seemed to work good. Buddy has chicken & beef allergies and we are trying to make his treats from now on. Between this and fruit cup frozen smoothies I think we are set. Very little noise, trays stack nicely, and easy to clean no sticking. The trays hold a good bit. Seems sturdy and good value for the money. The dog treats were costing 30 bucks a pop and our lab is in and out of vet with allergies so hoping we save money. Since the change to homemade treats he has not been shaking his head. Hopefully this does the trick.

The COSORI Food Dehydrator works really well and has plenty of space—the large tray capacity makes it easy to dehydrate big batches at once. It’s sturdy, runs quietly, and dries food evenly with great results every time.The only downside is cleaning the trays—they can be a bit time-consuming, especially after sticky foods like fruit. Not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind. Overall, still a great dehydrator and worth it!

Does what it is expected to do. Love COSORI products as they are reliable, well made, and the company stands behind their product. Have tried a lot of dehydrated veggies, fruits, and meats (chicken, turkey, beef) and everything has come out perfectly. Their "cook book recipes" are a bit lacking so go online and google "jerky" to get more actually tried recipes. PUTS 0UT A LOT OF HEAT on your countertop. Excessive heat over the number of hours it takes to dehydrate can actually cause delamination. Some, but not all silicon mates can mitigate this so buy carefully. The unit itself works as advertised and the 6 racks are great for home kitchen dehydrating. Quiet; you almost don't hear it when running.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this machine!!!! I am new at dehydrating things but let me tell you! I can’t stop! I like giving homemade gifts and this is like the best thing ever! So far I have dehydrated one small batch and two full capacity batches! Max capacity is about six pounds of meat. The book that comes with it has some great recipes for meats, fruits and veggies. I have only tried meats so far and they have come out perfect every time! Not knowing what I’m doing and or what to expect I haven’t had one issue with the dehydrator. It comes with six racks a dual use plastic tray and a plastic screen of sorts. I haven’t made anything using the plastic items but I use the tray as a drip pan to keep the bottom of the machine clean. The racks have been really easy to clean as well as the little amount I have had to clean on the machine I can’t give enough likes and or stars for this dehydrator and the ease of use!

This is my first dehydrator and it works great. So far I’ve made banana chips, green onion flakes, green onion powder, orange slices, lemon slices, and strawberry chips. I plan on using this to make backcountry camping meals soon.There is a ton of room in the dehydrator with 6 trays which is really nice. Also the fan is at the back which allows for horizontal airflow rather than bottom up like some cheaper dehydrators. This just means it dehydrates more evenly and you don’t need to reorder the trays.I would also highly recommend buying some silicone mats for the trays, they make cleanup way easier, but also the machine better. When I first made banana chips they stuck to the metal trays and were a pain to get off, as well as mostly breaking when trying to remove. I bought some silicone sheets and they came off so easily. The chips were perfect - 3 trays used, 140° for 16 hours.The trays themselves are easy to clean and the setup is so easy. They give you a booklet as well as a cheat sheet for how to dehydrate various fruits, vegetables, meats, nuts, and flowers. They also provide many recipes which is nice.This is my fist dehydrator, but I would recommend it.
