Great Album / CD from a Fantastic Band!! If you like 80s Hard Rock / Heavy Metal , this is a Band YOU should know. If YOU don't know Y&T , Do yourself a HUGE favor , CHECK THEM OUT!!On a side note :It seems the only way NOT to get a broken case when ordering CDs through amazon is to only get digipaks (although I have found they will **** these up too 😞)Use a bit of Common Sense Amazon!! STOP shipping CDs in stupid plastic bubble bags. They are useless. Even if it wasn't broke when shipped , it will break 9 times out of 10 during transit.I'M BEGGING YOU Amazon, USE THICK CARDBOARD PLEASE!!!PLEASE!!!

"Black tiger" from 1982 is (together with the following "Mean streak") Y&T's finest effort. After an instrumental tune/intro "From the moon" the action really begin, and "Open fire" is a typical up tempo song by Y&T, similar to "Mean streak". The material is rather diverse and there's lighter and melodic tunes like "Don't wanna lose" (a real gem!) as well as fast rockers in the shape of "Black tiger". The bass driven "Barroom boogie" gives the album character and the captivating fan favourite "Forever" gives an example of a classic Y&T formula used on previous as well as following songs. "Hell or high water" shows Y&T's ability to be slow but still groovy and heavy without ending up like Dio on "Strange highway". The closing "Winds of change" is a ballad and `tho I'm not crazy about Y&T's ballads in general it's quite good. Highly recommended!

This album was, and still is, one of Y&T's best. I was fortunate enough to have seen them in Hawaii during their short 2 month shows @ Lil'Orphan Annie's, and they were great then, and it's good that they were able to capture some of their excitement on tape.

I rocked out to Y&T at many of their Bay Area concerts in the early 80's, and this stuff has become hard to find. If you like 80's music, this is a must have for your collection. Whoever finally put this on CD...BLESS YOU.

I only buy albums for 1 or 2 songs but this 1 I bought for all of the songs

ABSOLUT! und UNDISKUTABEL ein JAHRHUNDERT ALBUM! JEDER SONG CULT! Tut mir leid, mehr ist nicht zu sagen... JEDER, UND ICH MEINE ABSOLUT JEDER ROCKFAN MUSS MIR ZUSTIMMEN!!!Jeder der meinen Tip dazu verwendet dieses Wahnsinns-Album anzuhören, wird sein Leben bereichern!Ja, ich weiß, das sind große Worte, aber zu 100% zurecht...Gruß megacult

いいんだよ、これで。恥ずかしくてもいいんだ、ありのままで受け入れよう自分を。ＬＧＢＴＱじゃあないけれど、好きなものは好きなんだ、だって80’sだぜ。正直なところ、家族ウケは全くしません。家族と一緒に車で聞くのはチョットオススメデキマセン。

アナログからの買い替えです。　オープニングのギター多重録音小曲から（アナログのＡ面ラスト）タイトルトラック「Ｆｏｒｅｖｅｒ」に至る流れは鉄壁。日本人のために書かれたのではないかと思える琴線触れまくりギターは、何度聴いても胸を締め付けられます。まさしく様式美の権化（ごんげ）です。　ほかにもシャッフル調やブギーにバラードと、ヴァラエティーに富んだ佳曲が並びます。　往年のメタルファンであれば誰もが知る名作ですが、若いファンにもぜひ聴いて欲しい名作です。　ボーナストラックにも惹かれて買いましたが、平凡な曲でした。
