Implant Z-Wave Plus Universal DIY Adapter, Smart Tool

Takes a bit of skill and time to set up and configure but works reliably with a z-wave system. was bought to replace its predecessor which was z-wave (not z-wave-plus). Didnt want to buy it but it was the only way to obtain a replacement devices to work with a more up to date z-wave controller.

It works great with Hubitat paired first time and works great used to integrate my smoke alarms into my smart home with Hubitat used in HSM with a virtual smoke alarm now I will get alerts to my phone it is goes off if I'm not at home. If I am at home the house goes crazy doors unlock lights turn on and Google starts shouting as well as the obvious fire alarm sound. I then added 5 DS18B20 Temperature sensors which was abit of a struggle as I didn't realise they needed to be added before the device was paired, once I removed and repair they were found. Now I monitor my hot water tank temp and showers, which mean that now my hot water heating is smart and automatically turns on of there's not enough winner all from one device love it. I've just purchased another to work with the smoke alarm in the garage and monitor my solar battery temps

Amazing little device, used with Smartthings to provide remote control of conventional wired house alarm. Can Set, Unset and trigger alarm remotely either via phone app or via an automation in Smartthings.

The Idea of using this to replace two devices in use with my DIY Central heating Automated control. I currently have Fibaro Duel relay module mains powered for switching on signal to the burner and control of the 3way valve for HW/BOTH/Heating plus Fibaro multisensor for the temperature sensing using cheap DS18B20 single wire (data) temperature sensors for measuring temp. of flow in/out pipes and the tank water temperature with a 12v wall plug DC supply. This bit of tech replaces both of these in a tiny package and only uses a 9-30v DC supply. The relays contacts are only exposed to signal level /small motor in the 3way valve so are perfect and the built in control / reading of upto 6 Temperature sensors (which can be a long distance away)

I use this in conjunction with an RG-11 rain sensor and works a dream! Also use these with some magnetic sensors for my garage doors and trip beam for my drive and has never let me down!

This unit is worse than its predecessor the universal module. Homeseer doesn't detect is correctly. If you add in in unsecure mode, you'll get both inputs but no temperature. If you add in in secure mode, you get temperature but only one input. Fibaro are the usual helpful selves and not offering any firmware outside their own hubs.

Works perfectly as Garage Door Opener / Monitor

I wanted to use this device with a pressure mat and after reading so my comments about people being able to do this and many other things with this implant it seemed like a quick and easy job. Turns out others who have set up this device with a pressure mat haven't used smartthings, or have used the older device handlers. With no decent smartthings edge driver for the device it's really limiting what you can do with it. The device has so much potential, and it added easily to the network but without full smartthings integration it's not useful for me, sent it back.

Prodotto molto versatile e utilissimo. Nel mio caso ho dovuto solo comandare un cancello lasciando l'altro relè libero per usi futuri. Non collegate mai il carico da pilotare direttamente al modulo, utilizzate una soluzione con un relè esterno.

The product description does not show that Z-Wave frequencies are "country specific". This product is configured for Europe (868 MHz). Do not purchase if you intend to use this the USA. Good luck trying to find a USA configured (908.42 MHz) version. Amazon needs to either update the description or remove this product for purchase.

Es un dispositivo increíble pero... si todo funcionase bien. En mi primera experiencia, la "pareja" IN1-OUT1 no funciona y hasta descubrirlo nos ha hecho perder mucho tiempo. Intentaremos que nos lo cambien. gracias

Je ne comprends pas le commentaire précédent, fonctionne TRÈS BIEN sous Jeedom v4 pour domotiser un vieux portail Nice équipé de carte logique POA/1. Pas de soucis particulier à l’installation, module minuscule ! Rentre parfaitement dans le boîtier, c’est assez incroyable la taille... Des schémas de montage typiques sont fournis par Fibaro, par exemple j’ai pu ajouter une sonde de température externe retrouvée sur Amazon pour quelques euros (il fait presque 19 degrés constamment dans le boîtier, la sonde de température intégrée est inutile, il fait 5 degrés en ce moment dehors ! Il vaut mieux en ajouter une deportee...) Attention il faut prendre le temps de bien faire les réglages dans Jeedom: pour simuler un contact sec ponctuel, il faut par exemple donner la valeur de 0,2s pour l’impulsion et ne pas l’avoir en continu... En résumé: - J’ouvre et je ferme mon portail en z-wave (2 modes: complet et piéton, grâce aux 2 contacts secs...) - je récupère la température extérieure > avec le même petit module !

Ich habe das Fibaro Smart Implant gekauft um meine alte 8V AC Klingel Smart zu machen. Hierfür benutze ich nur einen einen digitalen Eingang zusammen mit einem 12V AC Relais, welches ich parallel zur Klingel geschaltet habe. Jetzt bekomme ich eine Push Message auf mein Telefon wenn jemand Klingelt. Damit verpasse ich Paketboten mehr, selbst wenn ich im Garten bin. Auch wenn ich damit nur eine kleinen Teil der Funktionen nutze, bin trotzdem begeistert.
