I like this kit. Was able to put together my own sprinkler system. It took me about 3 days all said and done. Recommend renting a trencher at your local rental. Makes the job a heck of a lot easier. Have a real nice green yard now being able to water consistently and not have to move around a sprinkler. I blew all the water out of it and hopefully no issues after this winter.

Purchased this kit and was excited to install. To my surprise, the install was even easier than anticipated. The water pressure gage, cutter and instructions were easy to use and follow. My issues and tips: My only issue was attributable to operator error, and my tip is for the Blu-Lock connectors. They feel somewhat secure and feel to fit. Just make sure you apply additional pressure until the tubing moves inward and seats further in. It may require more effort than you originally think. Once it properly seats, you will be unable to pull the tubing out without the release. My tips: 1. Before install, apx 1 week prior, begin overwatering your lawn to prepare the soil and make it easier for your install. 2. As mentioned in many reviews, use yard stakes and secure your sprinkler head. 3. As noted in the instructions, measure your waters PSI and then determine your sprinkler head spacing. 4. (Here is where I saved a ton of time) use a half moon edger/cutter and cut along the path for your tubing. 5. Use a flat spade to increase the depth made by your cutter and create a "V", to the appropriate depth. 6. Install the system and close the edges of your "V" trench. 7. Backfill any elevation needs with Mason sand to level. 8. I used a 0° pressure washer attachment to go under a 3.5' sidewalk (it made for an easy 15 min job) 9. Watch videos on sprinkler head adjustment and then try, try, and try again... lol. Easy to adjust once you figure out how. 10. I purchased a smart water timer and it maintains the lawn, soil moisture and grass health. So far, I am impressed. The photo shown is 3 hours after install. Very easy install that took half a day with minimal disruption to my overall lawn. I am writing this review 3 weeks after install and I receive comments that no one is able to tell where the trenches were dug.

I’ve had the system for a little over a year now. Awesome system. Easy to install and works as advertised. The heads are easily adjustable and have a lot of pressure even though I have the system maxed out per their guidelines. Only complain is that the one zone on the timer stopped working after the first season. For the price of the overall system, this was not a big deal. Ended up upgrading to a timer that connects via Bluetooth and everything is great now. I’ve recommended this system to many family and friends.

I ordered three of these and I'm glad I did. Our plants and trees are spread out and we've needed most of the pipe to accomplish what we were trying to do. I did not use the controllers that were included so that I could use wifi controllers with three zones x 2. I have 5 zones completed with only minimal digging because I did not want to have to bury the pipe unless it was absolutely necessary. We have great water pressure so I've been able to run as many 6 heads on one zone. Huge learning curve with placement and I've had to move things around a bit but overall I'm very happy with how user friendly it has been. My only complaint is the lack of nozzle choices. Even though there is a pack of six that doesn't come with this kit, it's only variations of the same thing. I would love a misting nozzle but it doesn't exist for this particular sprinkler head.

The price on the item was extremely reasonable when compared to other self-install systems. My three-star review is more about Amazon Customer Support than the product itself. When I received the product, the bag of connectors only had half of the numbers required to install the full 2 zones with 6 heads. Since I was only setting up 4 heads per zone and we are already hitting the 90's I went to the big box store and got 2 threaded 90s and a hose adapter to install the system. Neither Amazon nor Orbit sell the 1/2" threaded Tee connectors. Installation was super easy following the supplied instructions. While the description reports that you get 200 feet of 1/2" line, you actually get 250 feet. The extra 50 feet is a nice touch. My only warning in installing the system is in using the Blu Lock connectors. The instructions say to mark the line 1 inch from the cut to ensure proper fitment. DO NOT skip this step. The fit is tight (which is good), but the hose must be inserted in the full 1 inch. 3/4" the fitting will leak (You might consider using liquid dish soap to make it easier to insert the hose). Now for the CON: when you get your system, make sure you inventory your parts! Sometimes stuff happens by accident at factories. If you are missing anything, return the entire kit! This is the ONLY option that AMAZON gives. They reported that there is no way that they can send missing parts. Even if I had not installed the system. I would have reservations about sending the whole system back at the company's expense because they were missing a bag with 18 connectors (of which I only really needed 3) to install my 2 systems. All in all Yes, I will buy this system again when I am ready to install it in the back yard. Just be sure to inventory it when you get it.

This system is great only thing is so far I have sent back three of them. The reason for returning some is that they were Warehouse Deals and the previous owner had used it , pieces missing, hoses cut to different lengths and the people inspecting it at return don’t know their job, sorry they just need training ! So if the kit was complete without any missing parts etc. I would have used them as a complete kit would work. These kits are everything you need to successfully install the under ground sprinkler system and cut down on work for you.

I was measuring 40psi at my faucet and could only use 6 of the 12 sprinklers - 3 per zone. Any more than 3 on a zone (in the U design) they wouldn't come up. I had to get creative with placement and managed to cover most of my garden, but I will still have to do some manual watering in parts. Trenching for me wasn't too bad as I have just had my garden leveled and there's no grass at all at the moment. Disappointed I couldn't get more sprinklers connected as all 12 would have easy covered my whole garden. Probably wouldn't buy again had I known this was going to be an issue.

Had an issue with a cracked Sprinkler Head on delivery. Spoke to Amazon who advised we contact the manufacturers Orbit for a replacement. We received a reply from Orbit stating that they do not stock this product in the UK. They went on to advise that Amazon should not have sold and shipped this product outside of North America! Advised to raise the issue with Amazon, although the 30-day return period has passed, however, they should not have sold this product to us. As this product is not sold in the UK, Orbit do not have any stock to replace the faulty sprinkler head.

I've bought 4 of these kits so far. I've expanded on one and added a full new system at a different house, so I'm a little familiar with them by now. I wait until they come on sale, or better yet buy it at a huge discount as "used" (typically untouched, open, or missing a couple fittings). the price is right considering the kit includes the timer, 6 sprinklers, tons of tube, the pressure gauge, tubing cutter. buying these seperately, even off the Orbit website, would be significantly more money. installation isn't bad at all. I've rented a trencher, but not only is it expensive, big, cumbersome, messy, and difficult for recover your lawn... but you simply done need to go that deep or wide for this system. A simple flat head shovel, dig it in 4 to 6 inches in a straight line, and go back and "pry" up the sod and you can feed the tubing under/between the grass quite easily. you will probably need to tamp the dirt around the sprinkler so it stays put and doesn't lean under pressure . PROS: complete installation kit, all you need is a shovel. the blu lok technology is just push to connect, can release it to make adjustments. value is pretty good. sprinkler adjustments and replacement are pretty straight forward. best of all, you CAN adapt the blu lok onto a 1/2 PEX fitting if you need to expand using different fittings or hose. However, PEX won't fit into the blu lok fittings. I've also bought some underground valve boxes so l can just run a hose to that and hide all the timers. CONS: the fitting selection is okay at best. the sprinklers all have the same nozzle size, limiting your options. this kit is really designed to give you a couple specific sprinkler layouts. a few extra fittings & nozzle selection pack would go a long way, especially because these fittings and parts are hard to find in stores (in Canada). The auto-drain fitting and the blu-lok to Hose Faucet connector are especially hard to find and I've had to purchase brass pex/pipe/Hose fittings to adapt, thus increasing costs quite a bit. Overall, (compared to a full $1500 proper sprinkler system with power and solenoids etc) if you can get this kit for less than $200, it does the job nicely. I blow mine out in the fall with a compressor because I don't really trust the auto drain fittings. I've always got the kit in my cart waiting for a Prime sale or something, just to have a full set of spares kicking around as I am now quite commited to this system.

Comes with all requires fittings and tools. Rather than buying individual components from Home Depot, this was super convenient to have everything in one box. Works so well that my neighbours envy my lawn.
