Metra 95-7510HG Double DIN Installation Dash Kit for 2004-2008 Mazda RX8

Takes a little time to organize all the wires and the placement of the control module for the a/c and text screen. Wires could be a little longer but then would make it harder to hide wires away. All in all if you place the box directly behind ashtray and below radio you can get all the wires to connect correctly. Easy to use interface to change time and custom text. Everything works exactly as it used to with the OEM radio

you would expect to pay around $20 for this kit, its cheap, does not fit at all, requires HEAVY modification to the kit or your dash. A/c control kit does NOT function so if you like having heat or air chose only and you might get only heat or only a/c there's no option with this kit. Do not call customer support because all they will tell you to do is set it back up to factory and of course that fixes it as your not using the kit anymore.

Installed on my RX8, instructions is easy and metra working well (even with auto climatisation). However, I don't understand how to set hour on RX8 panel.

Alright so lets start, this unit is a great piece, it was well worth the time and money spent. So, one thing I did not realize when i bought it, was that a separate control unit comes with this so that your a/c controls change the screen above your vents. This would not be a problem, but the cables they give you to connect to this unit are pretty short and it took a minute or two to set this all up under the driver side dash. All the controls function, and with this control unit it no longer displays radio station, cd and track, but instead you can put your name or whatever you want to type in up there. Still leaves the outside temperature displayed and the clock which will also now be set with the ac buttons. One thing that took me another minute and I hope I can save someone else time is that the white clips that clip into the dash from the back of your stock stereo will need to be used on this piece to clip it in. Oh and the one last thing is that the lip on the inside of this face was pushing against my head unit so it wouldn't clip in fully, so I just trimmed down the inside lip and now fits perfectly. Pro's: 1. Great quality, everything works as described 2. Fits excellently into the stock stereo position, and looks clean cut 3. The control unit retains everything of the a/c and the display screen Con's: 1. Honestly my only real con was I wish the lines to the control unit were longer, otherwise it would have been 5 stars

I've installed this kit twice. The second time, my AC controls have stopped working altogether. See my picture. The recirculation, fresh air, and rear defroster button lights are stuck on and nothing is working. I called Metra and they didn't seem to want to do an RMA for their kit. If anyone can let me know how to fix my AC, please do.

fit perfectly, a little pricey but 100% worth the finished product!

Finally got this installed and wouldn't you know the AC part of the unit was broken. I had already spent $75 getting it installed and another $150 for an aftermarket stereo plus the cost of this thing. So after it didn't work I had to pay to have it removed and put back in again. Other than the AC part not working it fit and looked nice in my RX-8. Pros- Looked nice and fit perfectly Cons- AC adapter didn't work from the start Metra wouldn't replace just the adapter

I got this kit for my RX8 fitted perfectly my only concern is the slow movement with the fan and ac temp controls could this be a upgrade issue ?

配線以外はマニュアルどおりに進めていけば問題なく進めます。 配線での注意点としては、車速とリバース信号です。車種のグレードや販売時期によっては24ピンコネクタに信号が来ている場合と来ていない場合があります。 この辺りは他のカーナビ取り付けガイドを見て調べてみてください。 上記2つの信号が取れればOBDIIコネクタへの接続は不要です。取れない場合、OBDIIへの接続をすることで本製品のコネクタの配線へ信号を持ってくることができるようです。 そして最後に、皆さんが書かれているように配線の収納がとにかく大変です。何とかなるだろう、くらいに思っていましたが考えが甘かったです。 MetraのキットのBOXがやたら大きいのと、さらにBOSE搭載車種の場合は、別途トラスレーターが必要でそのBOXと長い配線の収納が追加で必要となります。 私はパイオニアのサイバーナビを取りけて対象としてしまったので、奥行きも15cmで裏のスペースが皆無でかつ接続する配線が多く、裏の配線がどうしても入りませんでした。（そのままではフロントパネルが浮いてしまう） そのままではどうやっても配線の収納しきれずに絶望しました。 最終手段にて収納スペースの奥の助手席側の部分を5cmほどカットして、そこに横にBOSEトランスレータのBOXと配線、カーナビの配線の一部を入れました。写真を添付しておきます。写真よりもう少し切ってます。 Metraの24ピンカプラーと車体側のカプラーは収納部の一番奥の裏側にぎりぎり入れることができます。3センチくらいの縦の補強の裏です。 MetraのBOXはそのまま収納部の下（灰皿の裏）に入れることで何とか収納部のスペースを確保して、無事に浮きもなく取りけつることができました。ここに置かないとエアコンパネルのコネクタが届かないためです。 このキットはカナックのものと違い、 ・純正の時計が残る ・任意の文字が表示できる（ショップの初期の文字列を変えらえる） ・イルミのONOFFができる ところが魅力です。 なおマニュアルを読むと時計やテキストの設定メニューの入り方は「A/Cモードボタン」を長押しと書いてあります。正しくは真ん中の「MODE」ボタンです。私はずっとA/Cボタンを押してメニューに遷移できずに途方にくれてました。 最初に依頼した業者は配線をちゃんと収納できませんでしたので、自分で直しました。ご自分で挑戦される方は頑張ってください。

カナック企画 (カナテクス) TBX-T003/TBX-T003R が販売終了してしまい、新品で購入可能な DIN 接続キットとしてはもうこのキットが最後の希望です。 BOSE付きの車両の場合、スピーカーのインピーダンスが 0.5~2Ω のため同じくカナック企画の ・TBX-X001 https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B0045TEQ02 が必要です。これをつけないと、爆音＆ノイズがひどく使い物になりません。もし TBX-X001 の入手ができなかった場合には、すべてのスピーカーを 4Ωか8Ωのものに置き換える必要があります。 オートエアコン車の場合には、このキットを導通したあとにオートボタンを10秒押し続けないと風量と温度の調節ができないので要注意です。 風量と温度を調整したときに反応が悪いのは、そういう仕様みたいなので不具合ではありません。 自分の場合は、パイオニアの DMH-SF500 のインストールと動作確認ができました。取り付けでステーの加工が必要でした。 ステアリングでのボリュームコントロールには ・KJ-H101SC https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B00FJRM9GW を使用しました。
