I just got this and I can't wait to use it. It's a perfect size! I saw the directions already so I'm preparing everything. I hope my cake comes out as nice as the ones I saw in the pictures. Beautiful cakes! I'm hoping for outstanding results too like the other reviewers mentioned. Highly recommend! I'll update this once I make my cake. It looks like really good quality material too! Arrived on time and as described. Update: 31 August 2017- I just used it tonight. Cake came out great! But I used spray oil and flour and cake popped right out after cooling. But I think either I used too much flour or that was the wrong kind of spray oil. The top half of the cake came out white. But it was fully cooked. I tried to cover it up with lots of powder sugar. Not noticeable too much after you cut it, lay it down on the plate and eat it. After you eat it, nobody notices the difference. Update: 20 September 2017- I just saw a video recently explaining to use the Baker's Joy baking spray on the pan. They need to have this video on all of these pans they sell. And I was wondering WHY my cake didn't come out like the pictures and it was so WHITE looking. Of course it was white looking... that's because you don't use PAM on the pan and regular flour like I did cos I didn't know any better and was my first time baking in something like this. So I'm going to try it again in 2 weeks and make my birthday cake in this mold. But THIS TIME im using the correct spray for this so it doesn't stick and it actually looks like it's fully cooked. Update: 07 October 2017- I made another cake. This one came out perfect! I did use the baker’s joy spray. The cake popped right out the pan. No clean up mess either. This creates such a beautiful cake design!

I first saw this cake pan a couple of years ago - it wasn't available at Amazon and the price and shipping was more than I wanted to spend. I continued to search Amazon every so often until they had it. I bought it immediately and have now used it a number of times. As other reviewers have said - the quality is superb, the finish excellent, and the design is quite eyecatching. Cakes release easily with just a misting of spray, clean up is easy. The design is crisp and clean. Glazing it does present a bit of a problem, as the deep pattern forms a trough which funnels glaze right down to the plate. Just glaze it on a cooling rack set in a cookie sheet and you won't have the mess on the plate or counter. Scrape up the glaze from the cookie sheet (might have to heat it briefly to get it to flow again) and continue to glaze until it looks how you want it to look. This pan is not as large as the commercial version, so it might not hold all of a large recipe. Don't fill beyond about 1.5 inches below the top, or you might have a mess in the oven (uh, I know this how? Yep, I did it.) Any excess batter can be baked in a small loaf pan or small cake pan. BTW, bakers. Please encourage Amazon to bring back the 4 for 3 promotion in baking pans. It was a wonderful way to fill the cupboard with beautiful pans at a reasonable price and I miss that promotion greatly.

I love this beautiful and impressive Cake Pan. The details are so precise and intricate. The cake is beautiful I use Bakers Joy when ever I am baking in this pan and it always turns out like a charm. It holds less than a standard Bundt Cake recipe so I usually use 2 pans of the same size. I got this pan at a Bargain price here at Amazon, considering what some other sites are selling it for. I love it and always get so many compliments when ever I serve a cake where I used this pan. It is awesome, and I can't say enough good things about how great this cake pan is. The quality is amazing. It is heavy duty and that means you get an even golden brown color on the exterior of the cake it is moist on the inside. I have several recipes posted using this Pan. This pan is nearly perfect. It’s very sturdy so it won’t deform if you bang it or drop it on the floor, it cooks and browns evenly, the cakes come out easily and with a gorgeous shape. You do need to spend a little more time cleaning to ensure you get everything out of the deep grooves (old extra soft toothbrush works great—never use a dishwasher on a quality pan like this) but it’s not hard and worth the gorgeous cake. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the lack of handles which would make getting it in and out of the oven much easier.

Nordic Ware is always a good choice and this is no exception. Very pleased.

I will not be a verified buyer because this was a gift. This pan makes beautiful, DRAMATIC cakes. I have not had one stick yet and I have had this for many years. I spray with a flour cake pan spray. When I take it places I get many compliments. I would like to have a different shape but when looking, they just don’t look as show-stopping.
