Pre 3 Palm Veer Magnetic USB Cable

I'm so glad I got this cord because the cord that came with the phone didn't work! Plus with HP's charging tech being so "unique", chances are that you won't find too many of these chargers just lying around (a micro-USB this ain't) so it's probably best to have a back-up. Also, the fact that it also handles data transfer is a added plus! :) FYI: I have the HP Veer 4G and it fits perfectly!

The cable works as described. But had to wait a while before I got the item. The first time they shipped the item got lost in shipping it seems. So, contacted the seller after the shipping estimate date (which was 12 days after my order date). The seller was prompt to reply and send an RMA the same day. Got that after 3-4 days.I guess I missed in the description that the cable is just a USB cable and does not have the AC adapter, so make sure this is what you want before buying.

My original one (for HP Veer) always required some adjustment and tweaking. I assumed that it was inherent as there are multiple exposed metal contacts on the phone that can get dirty. I finally got frustrated and ordered a this new one. It works every time. I wish I hadn't waited.

Like a lot of other HP Veer users, I have had trouble with charging my phone. Before sending the phone back to be fixed at the factory, I ordered this new charging cable. Now my phone connects and begins charging immediately every time, and it actually charges fully before it stops.

Just recently was given a Veer. What an adorable phone. Unfortunately it didn't have the USB cable which I need to install Preware to get working apps. It will be a fun second phone now.

Charger broke after a month of use. Not blaming the seller, just the actual product since my first charger also broke. They both fell apart. First the little silver circle pops out, then the little semi-circle covering gets loose and travels up & down the chord... Guess its time i just invest in a new phone.

The HP Veer is a great phone, extremely small and still a full fledged smartphone including full QWERY keyboard. The only downside might be the magnetic connector instead of standard USB, so having an additional cable is very useful!

Very cheap quality
