Minimal Ghosting & Best for Bujo Beginners
I had been following Menorah at Instagram since a few weeks and only recently i came to know that they too sell journals and i had an instant crush on their products and i purchased this journal along with their sketchbook for my BuJo. Key Features •Dot Grid •A5 Black Dotted Journal •240 Pages •90 GSM It has an elastic enclosure and a back pocket with two ribbon markers. It also has a leather finish and is very stylish. I did the detailed pen test that you can see the photos that I shared. Because being 90gsm the ghosting is light and almost no bleeding. It's ofc not fountain/ink pen friendly but yes it doesn't bleed though depends on the ink quality too. That's the minus point there but i hope they work on that too. Keeping ink pens aside, the best part is that Brush pens do not bleed, especially camlin ones so a plus point there. Also the whatever little ghosting is there, that is hardly visible when pictures are taken in natural as well as artificial light. Best of all it is absolutely affordable and cost effective and value for money. I can't absolutely wait to use it. Watch me use the journal at my art & bujo account @abujoist/Instagram Recommended for bujo/journal beginners. Ps the packaging deserves a mention which is why I shared an exclusive image of that too.

Excellent value for money!
I’ve been using this for a few months now and the paper is really smooth. Yes there is ghosting and no, it’s not at all fountain pen friendly BUT if you stick to basic pens (I use a Linc Ocean black gel pen and coloured ball pens from Reynold’s) with pencil colours, you can get so much out of this! (You can see more of my spreads on Instagram— @12th.sky) Stay away from sketch pens, they’ll bleed right through. And if you’re using Tombows, as long as you don’t layer it, you should only have ghosting. The dots are well-spaced and just the right amount of black. The build is really sturdy, plus it has two bookmarks, and I use the back pocket to keep ephemera (stickers, stamps, old tickets etc.) that I want to use in the journal at a future point, so that’s really handy. AND it’s an eco-friendly product, which just gets all the points from me. For the amount you pay, this is a really good deal. I am really happy with it. However, I would love it so much if we could get an even better (even if more expensive) version of this with at least 120 gsm, fountain pen friendly paper. Please make this happen, Menorah people! :)

A great notebook but not entirely fountain pen friendly
This is a really well made notebook. Definitely a worthwhile one in my opinion. The outer cover as well as the binding are of a really good quality. The layflat design and the option of getting a dot-grid pattern certainly add to the value. The paper is also smooth to touch and write on. The only claim that didn't entirely work for me is the fountain pen friendliness. The paper is quite prone to feathering despite being pleasant enough to use. I tested it with the following combinations of pens and inks: 1. Lamy AL-Star B nib with Diamine Oxford Blue 2. TWSBI Eco B nib with Pelikan 4001 Turquoise 3. Baoer 100 F nib with Bril Turquoise Blue Unfortunately, the feathering was evident with all of the three combinations so it's probably not just one pen or ink. I haven't tested it with a roller or gel pen yet so can't comment on that aspect. The notebook is by all means a usable one, even with a fountain pen if you can live with the feathering issue but I doubt any FP enthusiast would want to do that. I'm guessing other free-flowing pens such as the Tombow Fudenosuke may also display similar characteristics. There's also a fair bit of show-through on the back of the page which could make it difficult to use double sided. Had the feathering not been an issue, this notebook would definitely be worthy of five stars in my opinion. Maybe the makers could take note of this and fix it in the further batches.

Amazing product, completely worth the price being charged.
* The leatherette cover is very premium in look and feel. * The elastic band has the perfect amount of tautness for now. Will need to see how that holds up with time. * Two bookmarks present. Amazing. * The last page compartment is again a nice touch. * The only branding is in the bottom of the back cover and is very tastefully done. * The cover panels are sufficiently hard and don't flex at all. * All the pages and their dots are aligned. * The pages are thick, and don't feather at all(I'm using a uniball roller pen). I want to see how the pages stand the test of time. I'm extremely happy with how well thought and executed this product is. All the little design considerations add up to a very awesome product.

Best Budget Diary for Journaling
This product has a premium feel. The packing was sturdy and hard, kept the diary safe. The quality is amazing. The outercover is solid and very sturdy, the pages have amazing quality. I didn't think I could get a journal of this quality within this budget, but this one from Menorah, is worth it. Go for it, it won't disappoint.

Very good
Good quality, hard/durable cover, good strap to keep it closed, good quality paper. Has two ribbons as bookmarks, title page, and small pocket at the end for little papers.

Fabulous, but very costly now
I bought this 4 years ago, at the same price of Rs.399, but got 240 pages. Thought of buying again before I noted that now they are only giving 195 pages. Wow. The overall quality was great, only the elastic band goes limp after some time. My love for dotted pages hasn't died.

Best product for bullet journal addicts
For the last three years I used matrikas bullet journal. But I wanted to try something new. Also stickers got along with matrikas seems to be wasted all the time because I like customising my own labels . So I wanted an optimum thickness without any unnecessary additives. So I thought this was perfect and it is. The pages are very smooth. Easy to write. Book can be spread easily so that we can write on it without hassle. It has 240 pages. It is more than enough for one year. One problem i found is the sheerness of paper. So if you use marker it bleeds through. But I always paste two sheets together. So that's not a problem for me. Also if I use five sheets for one month the bullet journal has optimum pages. Also in the end the bullet journal will be almost full. So that's a suggestion. Light watercolor and markers can be used. Altogether excellent product ❤️
