My Dog Record Book

Really cute book, I have this for 2 of my dogs and there is a lot of space for putting in information as they age, favorite foods, toys, vacations, just about everything you could think of and the pictures throughout the book are cute. There is space for pictures as well a medical information. The only complaint I have is I wish it had pockets for items such as adoption papers, medical records and such otherwise I would have given it a full 5 stars. I got it as used but it looked brand new. Very happy with this purchase.

This is a very cute record book for your new puppy. The only problem I see with it is that its got a space for the pup's mom and dad's name and birthplace, and then one for the grandfather and one for the grandmother...when in fact, their should be two sets of grandparents. The fine tip pen-type sharpies don't bleed through the pages. On a two-page spread (when the book is open) there is either a photograph of a dog on one page, or a place for a picture of your dog, and a lined page for you to write on, opposite of the photo. There are odd pages throughout with different places to put text and photos of your pup's dog friends, etc... but this is the general setup.There are 6 places to put photos of your dog, so you might want to print them small if you'd like to fit more than one on each page.I like this record book because it will keep memories and records in an organized, professionally photographed format, which is nice to look at. But I am also going to keep a small photo album of my pup. It seems to be targeted toward pure-bred puppies where you'll know its birthday, parents and grandparents names, etc. but you could use an adopted dog easily by making up his birthday or using the date you got him, and filling in his human parents on his family tree. Adorable photos and it captures great information to fill in. I got this 10 years ago for my other dogs and loves it so much that I did a search and found it here on Amazon because I wanted it for my new dog. I’ve shopped a bit for cute doggie books - this one is very cute! You won’t be disappointed!

So I got this used and shouldve expected it may have been well... used.Several of the pages were already filled in so I recommend you buy it new.If you want something more for actual record keeping (paperwork etc) then don't get this.Think of this more of a fun cutsey keepsake than actually useful. (i.e. a whole page dedicated to my favorite toy, place to sleep, etc... I don't see much use in that)

Lovely dog book with pages of fun and interesting things to document about your pup! I have my own and have bought several as gifts for friends getting new dogs.

This book is so well done. The pictures add a lot of character to the book. Great photos of the dogs in accordance to how the page is entitled. There is a place for paw prints too. Wish there was a pocket though...I saved her baby teeth from when she was a puppy. How's that for puppyhood mush? I am going to make a small pocket and attach it into the book. Then it will be perfect in my opinion. :)

Wonderful way to put in lots of memories of your best friend.

The book was in great condition and the pictures are adorable. What's not to like. I plan on getting a new pup as my dog passed recently after 14 years of being part of my family. Love it, love it, love it!
