original remote functioned poorly
my original yamaha remote developed issues of not registering buttons pushed. despite a new battery. some research later i saw that other people had similar problems, quick fix was to push on back of remote to make sure battery was making contact. that works, but became a 2 handed operation instead of 1. purchased this replacement and it is fantastic. works very well. i also think that the button layout is different, but in my opinion, much better. nicely done and thank you for a great product.

It works wonderfully!
My brother gave me his old soundbar and he couldn't find the remote for it. I saw it and bought it. Now while laying on the bed I can use it.

Great remote!
Great remote! Worked as soon as I put in the 2 AAA batteries, which was not included. Minus one star for not including the batteries, and prefer the remote was a little bigger.

Worked right out of the box...er, bag
I thought I might have to program this thing since it supposedly replaces a whole raft of Yamaha remotes. But, nope. I did have to add batteries (no problem; they are standard AAA, not button batteries), but that was it. I just got it, so I don't know about durability. But it can't be any worse than the two Yamaha-branded remotes I've gone through. And it's cheaper.

Great product
One of the best products I've ever purchased on Amazon. Have a model 103 that's been around for awhile. The remote had slowed down to the point it was unbearable. This replacement worked right out of the box. Boom! Not one problem. Yeah the buttons are a little smaller but doesn't take long to adjust. Certainly no reason not to purchase. Again, I can highly recommend this remote.

Basically junk.
This worked just fine. Paired with the sound bar without any instructions whatsoever. Problem is the he remote was knocked off of an end table three feet off the floor and stopped working. I've dropped numerous remotes on the floor dozens of times with no issues. I would rate this, reluctantly, junk.

Better than original!
This item works better than the original remote that came with the Yamaha unit. Very easy to start up. Very reasonable replacement. Would definitely buy again!
