So far so good. I had low expectations given the deluge of knock-offs floating around on Amazon and fleaBay. This battery was a pleasent surprise and seems to hold its charge. Been using it for a few days. Will update periodically.

The Note 3 has terrible battery life compared to modern Samsungs but it's completely unusable when the original battery dries up like mine did. This battery was an exact fit replacement and does at least just as well as the original battery when it was new. I'm not sure if the extra capacity is resulting in any real improvement but it lasts through the day with normal use now. But if I'm playing games or taking a lot of notes/doodling I only get about 4 hours of screen time but that seems to be the norm for this phone.

I have an old Note 3 that I use on wifi to read newspapers, go on social media and most importantly, to me, use as an audio player streaming old time radio shows and BBC RADIO 4 EXTRA radio dramas and quiz shows, etc, as well as various NPR programs. To do these things I need a reliable battery. My previous ones had died and after reading reviews chose this one. First, I want to say this seller is terrific! There was an issue with the 1st battery I received, it would not hold a charge and ran hot. I reported it to the seller and in less than 24hrs I had a 2nd battery. The 2nd battery holds a charge and is perfect for my needs. Based on my experience I would continue to do business with this seller. And yes this battery is made in China. I hope it will last at least 2 years as have my other batteries for this particular device.

First, this battery does last longer than the original. I've had four supposed "Samsung original OEM" replacements before this one and none of them were even as good as the one that came with the phone,(and two died in less than six months). On top of performing great so far, for some reason I'm getting better reception with it - I absolutely could not make phone calls inside stores unless I was up front by the windows. Since I put this in I can get and make calls from anywhere in the stores I go shopping at. I can't say why this is; maybe because there's no NFC? That doesn't make sense to me but I can't think of any other reason it would do this. Anyway, so long as it lasts at least two years it's definitely five stars.

Needed a new battery for my old Note 3 so my kid could watch some Netflix around the house without always swiping my phone from me. This battery work great! Holds a long charge and lasts a large chunk of the day. If your looking for a cheap battery fro your old phone, you found it.

10/25/20 UPDATE: Four months after purchase, and the battery does not even charge anymore. At all. I had to dig out the old battery from a different third party seller to have enough battery until a new one from Amazon shows up. I don't know how you're supposed to contact the seller about the warranty because when I tried, it directed me to Amazon customer service saying it's an order fulfilled by Amazon. Amazon says they can't send a replacement since the seller has the stock? At least Amazon has excellent customer service and gave me a full no-hassle refund! There's no way the battery I received lasts 800 charge cycles. More like 80. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I took a chance on this battery since the third party battery that I bought a couple years ago is no longer available. Even after multiple full charges and discharges, the battery lasts about as long as the 2 year old battery that I want to replace. The charge only lasts a few hours, whereas the previous battery I bought could go a full day.

The reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because it takes all day to charge. I received it fast. Once its charged it lasts a long time because I only use it for the hotspot. I just don't like that it takes a whole day to charge before I can use it.
