I've used Damp Rid before and it works well.
I've used Damp Rid before and it works well. I keep some in a gun safe and it seems to do just fine. I opted for this instead of the heating sticks because I like the idea of it actually removing moisture from the air. The heaters work but they do that because warmer air holds more moisture and therefore there is less moisture to condense on the metal surfaces. BTW, I tried salvaging my old Damp Rid by boiling off the water and reusing the crystals. Yea, it can be done but I decided it really wasn't worth my time and hassle. The bulk container I have will last me YEARS.

works great in closets and basements to control odor
This is a great product. It was a great price also. i have used this for years and always had to pour out of a plastic bag. This way much for convienient.

Moisture Be Gone!
I like using the 7.5 lb. container size because I can refill my eight "buckets" twice with it It doesn't take long to see the Damp Rid pulling the moisture out of the air. It's a simple matter of pouring out the collected water after the all the Damp Rid has dissolved, and then refilling the bucket with more Damp Rid to repeat the process. A simple process that works for me!

Damp rid is fabulous for any moisture issues. Works really well in a gun safe.
I use this to keep my gun safe dry.

Works well in our basement
Only negative is the package came with a broken lid. Fortunately, I had just finish one and switched lids. Without a lid the container would absorb all the moisture in the room and been unusable.

You can get it in a 7 lb container which is a lot cheaper than the bags
Product was amazing at getting rid of moisture in closets under the sinks and just in the rooms in general definitely worth the money and it was Amazon was great quick and efficient

I use this all the time, great product
I’ve used Damp Rid for years and prefer the larger refill which can be hard to find. It keeps my bathroom cabinets from smelling musty. Great product! There was a mixup with delivery but the vendor resolved it perfectly. Couldn’t be more pleased!

A long time favorite whitner
I've used this product for a very long time and it definitely makes a visible difference when used to fresh and white clothing. I pretty much stick to cotton clothes and of course towels and wash clothes and it does very very well. Highly suggested
