Sleek, Hidden Power Source!
This pop-up floor outlet looks so clean in my kitchen countertop. It pops up smoothly, charges fast, and hides away perfectly when not in use. Pros: Discreet design, waterproof cover, USB ports included Cons: Takes a bit of space under the counter

Buy a Deeper Box
This a nice looking receptacle and build quality seems to be quite good except for a couple of overall what I would call design flaws. If I would have known ahead of installation, I would have bought another deeper box for it. The box really is not deep enough if you flush mount it to floor surface. This was not an issue as I have carpet which provided enough space to smoothly close (I didnt realize I was going to have another issue before I screwed it in - see below), but tile or hardwood could have been a problem. To see what I mean, do a test fit before installation buying screwing the receptacle to the box, then try to close it. Notice the receptacle will hit the bottom of the box before you can get it closed. In addition, I was replacing a smaller previously installed floor outlet. After enlarging the hole with a reciprocating saw, the existing wiring needed to enter tha box from the side towards the front. The terminals are toward the back and in the middle. Because the box is not deep enough, there isn't clearance to run the romex under the outlet and still be able to close it. I mounted the box extra low in addition to guessing the type of clearance the carpet gap would give. I didnt guess right and I didnt install the box below the surface of the subflooring deep enough. I can still close the receptacle if needed (we use it constantly so closing is never really an issue) but you have to press very hard because it rubs against with romex running under outlet from that side front corner knockout to the back of the box. Buying a box with another inch of clearance would have made this a much better install. If it's a new install, give yourself the right length of new romex to enter the box from the back (middle would be best). The only other issue is that you have to hold the opening mechanism open the whole time it takes to open or close the receptacle, otherwise it engages the front (plug surface of the outlet) and it wont open or close.
