I bought them for my dad (65 years old). He says that it is convenient to hold them in the hand. Definitely has bigger hands than mine, for me they are not comfortable to hold. With one we agree that they are very sharp. Yes you have to squeeze them harder but they don't tear nails and just cut them. My father has very hard nails. So, if he is happy, I am also.Packed in a box. The cutters themselves have a safety cap.

I bought this to help cut my toenails as after an ingrown toenail, my nail grew back but thicker than ever. I've found it difficult to cut them with a normal nailcutter and this cutter is just perfect. Although I need to cut the toenails in bits, it's much easier. This pack was in a lovely box like it's a gift and comes with a nail lifter. Didn't think i'd be so excited about a nail cutter

These nail cutters also come with a nail lifter which is good for cleaning under the nails. Pull the two springs out and after cutting they spring open easily ready for the next cut. Really good cutters but be careful they are very sharp.

Easy to hold in hand and move around nails/toes.Rather sharp. Metal tool is useful to move skins away. Happy with it

They have great rubber coated handles, which are comfortable to hold and reduces the risk of slipping and cutting you skin.The blades are sharp and make cutting thick nails easy.The cutters have a retractable spring, which make is easy to have no spring at all, so the cutters don't automatically open, may be used when storing the cutters away. You can setup a spring on one side, so that there is a small amount of spring back when using the cutters, and then you can setup both springs on both sides, so they open up a little quicker and wider when in use.The box come with the nail cutters and a small tool to help clean and cut awkward nails.Great device.

I like the handles on these clippers. My wife has a problem holding such items but even she finds them easy to grip and comfortable to use.They are precision ground, extremely sharp and give a clean reliable snip right up to the very fine point and along the whole cutting edge (see photo of paper test).This tool has a brushed steel finish but I would have prefered a shiny surface as I feel it is much easier to keep smooth surfaces clean.When I first used them, one spring was all that was needed to keep the clippers open. They quickly became stiffer and I had to start using both of them. Two springs open the handles much wider which is fine for me but is probably not so easy for users with small hands. I don't find it a problem but even with both springs, they have started to lock occasionally, once the cut has been completed.The clippers come in a nice presentation box which also includes a handy tool for lifting and cleaning under the nails, and a protective sheath for the tip.
