Always another way to get same result.
Excellent way to resolve misplaced hey. I took key to older hardware store and they cut it for $4 and some change. I followed an online YouTube video and it worked the first time. $14 dollar fix for a misplaced key. Wow

Excellent value, works great! Had trouble finding a place to cut it but found a solution in the end.
No complaints, works perfectly!Struggled to find a local-shop to cut this and instead found a service called Faster Auto Keys online, which allows you to send in a picture of your current car key along with this key blank. They then cut the key blank based on the image. After receiving the key, I followed a YouTube tutorial to program the chip for my 4Runner, and everything worked flawlessly. After trying and failing to get Home Depot and three different ACE Hardware stores to cut this, I highly recommended Faster Auto Keys.

Perfect fit 2004 Sienna Limited
The key shop that cut it said it had the wrong chip but it programed on the first try.

DOES NOT WORK on a 2003 Toyota Camry
DOES NOT WORK on a 2003 Toyota Camry. It is advertised as working on 2003-2010 Camry... but did NOT work on our 2003 Toyota Camry. Need the "4C" not the "4D"

Works 98% of the time!
I got it cut and programmed to my car and it worked perfect BUT....I am having issues about once or twice a week during each summer! The car just won't start. It took me literally hours to find out but all clues point to this key. Another customer here is experiencing the same issue!Basically, the key won't get recognized by the immobilizer when the vehicle cabin is hot. The immobilizer has no problem recognizing the genuine original toyota transponder key.So be aware, if you live in a state with hot weather you'll most likely run into this issue. It can get extremely frustrating when you are running out of time, hop in your vehicle and just realize it won't start. The trick is to open all windows and try to cool the car down (A/C won't work since the car doesn't start).Pretty much every single time I was eventually able to start the car but it took up to 15 minutes of waiting. Yay.So be careful Texans, Californians, Floridians, Arizonians!I live in Mid-Atlantic area and we have 95F summers here. During that temp when the car sits on the sun, it won't budge.

It works!
HAd the local hardware store cut it, use the YouTube instructions and it works perfectly. The lock cylinders on the Highlander needed to be lubed up to work. Mainly because the car had always been used with the fob to lock and unlock it.

Is it me? Or the key?
Found 3 different youtube videos explaining how to program these transponder keys for Toyotas. They all showed the same procedure. I can pull a key in and out 5 times, open and close a door 6 times, and I never got this to work. But maybe it's me. Maybe it's my car. Or could be this key was DOA?Edit:It was me. I'm an idiot. You pull the original key in and out 5 times, not the new key... Changed rating to 5 stars.

Works but low quality
The head of the key is hollow and feels cheap, not nearly as nice as original toyota key
