Total Forgiveness Experience: A Study Guide to Repairing Relationships

This workbook is remarkable. The information is illuminating, the questions really make you think. Like being with a kind and compassionate therapist or wise elder. But also tough in the best way. What working through this workbook made me realize was how little I understood forgiveness. And how little I understood what lack of forgiveness can do to a person. So many books can be called life changing. This one truly is. Love yourself enough to buy it and work it all the way through. You won't regret it.

Powerfully delivered in no nonsense bites of wisdom. We use it in group study. Everyone who has participated says it has changed their lives. Highly Recommended. Get out of the misery and rut of unforgiveness.. A MUST READ for people who are wounded, beaten down, and depressed by offenses and unforgiveness. The victims of offenses live them over and over again when they do not (can’t) forgive those who hurt them. The truth is, you need to be set free! Study this book.

This year, I want to pursue forgiveness. I’ve known for years that I need to forgive so I’m following God’s Word, but I also want to forgive because it does me no good to hang on to anger and bitterness. I picked up Total Forgiveness searching for practical ways to start the path to forgiveness, and I had two particular people in my head that I’ve struggled to forgive in the past. I felt like the book was filled with reasons WHY to forgive and not enough ways HOW to forgive. I didn’t agree 100% with everything the author said, but overall, it’s a good book. I read the book before getting into the study guide. As I worked my way through the study guide, I noticed a few things. It’s not a 1:1 ratio with the chapters in the book, so it wouldn’t be super easy to go through them at the same time. The book has 7 chapters, while the study guide is set up so you go through it over 13 weeks or sessions. The study guide restated the main points of the book, but it also had specific questions for me to work through, making me evaluate my particular issues in a more personal way. I don’t think you need both. If I had to pick one or the other, I would definitely recommend the study guide. I felt that it was more helpful and got me thinking more deeply about the situations I needed to work through. The way I saw it - the book was more general information while the study guide had the practical guidance I was looking for.

Great book on forgiveness and why we should forgive

Kendall's Total Forgiveness challenges the reader both biblically and practically with the sometimes subtle ways we withhold forgiveness because we believe they do not deserve it. He shows the reader how doing so forgets God's grace towards us and leaves bearing spiritual consequences. The book is convicting and hopeful, showing the reader God's blessings that accompany this all-important command to forgive as we have been forgiven.

Take your time reading this book. There are many helpful principles and Bible scripture to help you through the process of forgiveness.

Excellent, excellent companion study guide to another must read from my top 10 of MUST READS IF one wants to personally understand and experience the greatest power available to humankind!! Do NOT call yourself a follower of God if you are not willing to soberly read what RT Kendall has to say on the most important topic of Christianity! And for those who have suffered at the hands, mouths or actions of a "so called" Christian, chances are they never read this work or followed the foundational key premise to the faith they proclaim to follow! My deepest apologies to you for your hurt & pain you have unjustly been burdened with because of their pride & ignorance of who their God truly is! I highly recommend this study in companion with the extraordinary book this goes with.

This study guide about forgiveness is FABULOUS!!!! We are doing it in a group study & aren't even using the book too with it. The study guide is EASY to use & THOROUGH. We're all giving it to the men to do a study with it when we are done. FABULOUS study about a topic not taught about from the pulpit!

It really helps me to move from then to now and to be free.. the pain in my left side is sliding away day by day with the step by step guidance of this book. A must read!

We used this after reading RT Kendall's book as a home group. Some of the questions don't work in a group situation but generally it was a very good and challenging set of studies.
