Very fresh and high quality stuff! I really like that it's organic, raw, dried in low temperature to preserve the enzymes/nutrients, and has no fillers at all! Mixes well with water, but I prefer to use vegetable juice or coconut water since chlorella has a natural funky taste/smell. I use this once a day along with their spirulina powder to keep my insides clean and alkaline. I can definitely feel a difference in overall health when I'm using this. If I feel an illness coming on I may take it twice a day the help heal myself. I also have these in the tablet version so I could take it with me when I travel. And just a heads up, the powder is very fine so be careful opening the lid.

Smells like manure because it's the real stuff. Intense green shows the high levels of chlorophyll in it. Mix with smoothie to hide the taste. This stuff is excellent nutrition for you. Take preventative care of your body. Some of the powder come on outside of container. Not very good packing.

I just received this product today and I had a glass earlier today. Within a few minutes of drinking half of my glass of water, I felt like my eyes started to be more lubricated, my mind sharpened, which felt weird because I felt fine before I drank this stuff, but I just felt alot better a few minutes after, It was amazing. I made rough measurements, but I basically put one teaspoon of pomegranate powder, one teaspoon of maqui powder, one teaspoon of wheatgrass powder, and a quarter teaspoon or half a teaspoon of the chlorella. I know the maqui powder didn't contribute to how I felt today, I've had it before and didn't feel like this before. I will make a glass tomorrow without chlorella and see if it makes a difference, but I think the chlorella really made an impact. I think that everyone who is having bad side effects need to really make sure they are not taking too much. I noticed that I saw some bad reviews about the taste. As soon as I opened the bottle, I thought, yes this doesn't smell like fruits and berries. It's not supposed to, it's algae. Algae is not known exactly for it's delicious smell and taste. So I think if people try a very small dose of the chlorella, they will get different results. I will update this in the future, but I am excited about the powder so far.

The taste is very questionable. I’m also questioning how desperate I am to feel well and stop my hair from shedding. The best way I can describe the taste/smell is a cross between my dogs breath or fish poop. Drinking it with tart cherry which usually masks anything nasty isn’t helping and might be making it worse. I’m gonna try pineapple juice next. Holding your nose helps tons. Cheers to better health.

I just received chlorella powder this week, so I cannot yet comment regarding any specific health benefits. However, I can comment on the flavor. I simply mixed the one teaspoon serving into water and drank it, it was very tolerable, followed by regular water so my mouth/teeth didn’t look like Swamp Thing. I’m not even going to bother mixing it with other foods or beverages. (Some reviewers commented that the powder affected the flavor of their food too much, so I didn’t want to take the chance of not enjoying my regular smoothie). Also, I didn’t notice any unpleasant smell with this, and I normally have a sensitive nose. Then again, I didn’t put my nose up to the container and breathe in (for what should be obvious reasons). Now I’m just hoping the product assists my body with lyme detox, only time will tell.

April 12, 2020 I purchased this Organic Chlorella Powder. I have taken Chlorella tablets & Powder for 30 years. I have never minded the flavor during all this time. I decided to try this product because it was in a container and their description made it seem special. My regular Chlorella comes in a zip pouch and can be messing using, so I was looking forward to trying this Organic Chlorella Powder. The first thing I noticed when opening the container is how dark the Chlorella was, and thought maybe it is extra rich! The second thing, and really almost the same time, noticed the smell!!! It smelled like manure!!! I take Chlorella twice a day, once at night before bed and once in the morning, it is very helpful in giving me nutrients I need, one being Iron. I decided to give this a try that night, I was so tired and decided to try to choke it down. I don't know how I did it. It not only smelled like manure but tasted like it too. It was so disgusting! I worried that the Chorella was contaminated and that I would end up sick. Once I woke up I decided that I would not ever take that Chlorella again, I just could not. I threw out the rest of the jar. Later I thought I should have returned it, but I was so just completely disgusted! I don't usually do reviews, I think I have given one review in the past. I don't know what happened with this Chlorella, all their info made it sound exceptional. Others have had the same experience, so this is not a one time thing. This is very sad, Chlorella is such a wonderful thing, I hate that this was such a bad experience!

This is my 2nd time purchasing Chlorella (first time was tablets, but I prefer using powders). It's a very very fine powder, so be careful as you open it and scoop out your serving, as it's easy to fly all over the place. Since Chlorella comes from Asia (including Japan, where radioactive particles are still a reality) it's difficult to know about the purity, or how carefully it was grown/handled, since it's a magnet for whatever toxins are in the environment. I liked what I read about this company, especially the 3rd party testing they do. That's how I decided on this brand, and can only hope/trust it will do me more good than harm. IMO, you can't be too careful when it comes to supplements like Chlorella.
