Perfect For Nvidia Shield
If you're an Nvidia Shield user, you know how awful its remote is. This low-priced device is what Nvidia should have included with its brilliant set-top box instead of that minimalist abomination the company has foisted upon its users. This unit has everything you need to control the Shield. Its surprise coolness is its mouse control, where you push a button and a cursor appears on the screen. Whoa, I didn't expect to like this feature so much! It's like magic to move the cursor around the screen by simply pointing the remote where you want it to go. The remote itself is cheap plastic and too light to seem substantial enough. Besides that it works well. Its radio-controlled (not the flaky infrared) signal doesn't require you to point the device at the receiver at all. Its mute control (the most important button on the remote if you're watching commercial TV) is conveniently situated at the top right, just where I like it. I was a bit worried when I received this unit -- there was something loose rattling around in the box and it sounded like a piece of it had broken off. But not to worry -- that was the USB receiver, which was carelessly placed into the box with no wrapping. But that didn't end up mattering at all, because to make the remote work, all I had to do was plug this USB receiver into my device, and it just worked. Bravo! Worth every penny.

Life saver
This is probably my 3rd or 4th one of these and each time it's because I have misplaced the original remote or are unable to pair a device. There best part of this device is that there is no pairing required and is as simple as placing the USB attachment into whatever you're wanting to control. It's a media box for me and this works well, the batteries last long, it fits well in the hand and is an excellent replacement remote

Replacement for crappy NVIDIA Shield remote
I bought this to replace the crappy remote that comes with the NVIDIA shield. It seems to go to sleep and requires too much fiddling to get it to wake up. Will not wake on using the volume feature. The WeChip doesn't have that problem and I can instantly change volume at will. I like that part. What I don't like is the cheap feel, high force needed for the left side of the ring switch and the fact that it always sends a "double click" to the Shield resulting in going back two steps rather than just one. Overall the WeChip feels cheap and not well designed. However, it gets the job done for the price. NVIDIA just came out with a new remote but good luck buying one since everyone who owns an older Shield wants a better remote than the substandard one included.

Very good for the price, and works with Android TV
Just plug it and it works. I'm using it with my Sony TV running Android TV. * Air mouse feels smooth. * Build quality is decent for the price. * Enough buttons to navigate menus. * Was able to program the IR power button from the TV remote. Hard to complain with the price, but I wish the shape of the remote was a bit sculpted to make it nicer to handle and be less wobbly when on the table. I also wish there were a few extra "custom" button that can be programed to launch apps. You may want to install a third party virtual keyboard on Android TV as the default Gboard will not show up when you have a physical keyboard connected.

Buttons not all that friendly
I find myself pushing the same button numerous times to get it to work. I am only 6 feet away from the box and it doesn't seem to take. Also, if you don't push directly in a certain spot, it doesn't take. It is more frustrating then it is worth.

Awesome replacement remote for the Shield
I bought this Wechip G20 remote to use as a replacement remoter for my Nvidia Shield. This remote does everything that it supposed to do Google assist voice recognition works by holding the mic button down and talking then releasing works in apps such as YouTube by hitting the onscreen mic button and talking into the remote. All the other buttons work perfectly the buttons are clicky and very responsive it made out of plastic and feels a little cheap but this is to me the perfect actually way better then the original remote for my Shield A++++ thanks a lot as a everyday Sheild user I really appreciate this remote oh yeh are air mouse works great to I like that it can easily be disabled by the push of a button this thing is awesome!!

Good replacement for old thin Nvidia Shield TV remote - BUT HAD TO RETURN
The original remote was one of my all-time favorites but the 4-way pad was starting to require multiple presses. This G20 remote worked right out of the box and does all the functions of the original. I prefer the thinness and the touch sensitive volume control of the original but they are not available. This will be a good replacement. It has a very low quality feel to it so I might order a spare. For some reason I had to try the microphone three times to do a voice search but once it started working it seems ok now. I like the accelerometer mouse function. The original remote didn't have that and made certain apps inconvenient so in that respect this is better than the original. UPDATE: I was wrong about the mic taking three tries. That was just a fluke. Sometimes the mic works, sometimes it doesn't. I can't figure out a pattern but I suspect a firmware bug over a hardware problem. If the mic functionality, voice search, etc. is important to you, maybe consider a different remote. UPDATE2: Within a couple of days this remote's behavior became so erratic that it is virtually unusable. Occasionally it works fine but most of the time when you click a button it will take from 5 to 20 seconds to respond and then it will send the command many times. For example to go to the next item in a list menu I click down and it sits there for a while, then goes down 3 or 10 or 20 lines down the list. Same thing with every keystroke. I have tried different batteries. Sometimes taking the batteries out for a minute will get a couple of good keystrokes before it goes out of its mind again. I know it is the remote because my Shield does not exhibit this behavior with the old remote. UPDATE3: I returned the G20 remote and received a replacement but it exhibited the same erratic behavior. Once in a while it works for a while but then it starts going crazy with long delays and sending many commands in response to a single keypress. I finally gave up and returned the remote. I will go back to using my original remote even though the keypad Right function is wearing out.

An affordable almost perfect match to the official remote
I bought this for my Shield TV Pro because the one I purchased only came with a controller. At first, that was fine, but eventually I consolidated that device into my home entertainment system and controlled the whole thing with a Logitech Harmony Hub. This made controlling the Shield TV simple, with either a standard remote, or my smartphone. In moving things around after various upgrades, the Shield TV now resides in my office/gaming room. That room does not have nor need a Smart Hub, so I'm settling for an old Logitech 550 to control that system. I'm not sure if this remote would be in the Logitech 550's database, given how old it is, so I can't tell you if you just need the dongle and can get rid of the remote, but if I end up finding out that is the case, I'll update my review and let you know. That would be the ideal solution. However, the remote is certainly fine to use, with a solid, well-constructed feel and firm, tactile button presses. That being said, the price difference between these two remotes is large, and my Logitech 550s, while not operating without some issue, are still perfectly usable after well over a decade. Also, that's two extra batteries I don't end up having to swap every year or so. But minor annoyances aside, the product itself is a good one that should work well alongside whatever remote controlled device you're using it with.

Does not work
I wanted to use it in my Kodi Device but it does not work. The okay button is not working at all which is a bummer.
