Perfect. Just what I was expecting.

Great for Foam Core projects!
I bought this specifically for foam core insert creation for board games. Which means a lot of slicing with a box cutter/xacto knife. And to think years ago I just used a piece of cardboard as my "craft mat." I did make sure to unpackage this in the garage and leave it sitting for a 24 hours before I brought it inside to begin my project. From what I've read, these things have a sort of chemical smell to them (it did) and that's part of the self healing properties. At any rate, I'm very happy with this mat and it works as intended: protecting my table during my insert projects one cut at a time. I chose the white/blue side to have two differently contrasting sides and that worked well with black foam board.

Great table protection
This mat works great for cutting glass. It is a nice large size and protects my table underneath from the cutter blade. The only issue I have is that things stick to it due to static. It is a difficult to clean up tiny glass bits that are left over from cutting. I have to use a wet paper towel to pick them up which is a hassle in my water free studio.

Quality mat for a good price
Withstands cutting and pokes from x-acto knives without an issue whatsoever! I'm running my knife across it with a metal ruler, and you can't even see a scratch. Serves as a great mat for crafting in general, and the size for the price is super reasonable to me.
